Ignore the Lies: Stephen Bannon is a Mainstream Conservative

Matthew Vadum It didn’t work in the election cycle and it won’t work now. The election of Donald Trump as president of the United States is proof that the “racist” smear no longer carries the sting it used to in American politics. For promising to get tough on illegal immigration and making demonstrably true observations about the criminal scum invading the nation from the south, Trump was pilloried as a bigot.
And so the Left is now trying to take out my friend, Stephen K. Bannon, by smearing him as a racist even before he assumes the role of chief strategist in the Trump White House. How sad is it that the Left today feels comfortable attacking a mainstream conservative like Steve Bannon as a “white nationalist” because he believes that all lives matter. Like another friend of mine, Andrew Breitbart, Bannon is a take-no-prisoners conservative. Steve’s flood-the-zone approach to investigative journalism while piloting Breitbart News forced corrupt RINO pantywaists Eric Cantor and John Boehner into early retirement. Without Steve’s brilliant strategic counsel, Trump’s election would have been impossible. This is why the paid professional liars and degenerates at the Southern Poverty Law Center, Media Matters for America, Center for American Progress, Demos, People for the American Way, and other George Soros-funded slander shops fear him.

These radical left-wingers hate America and American values and they want to keep the nation in its present Obama-induced funk. Steve gets things done and makes no apologies for his patriotism. There is nothing radical about what Steve believes: to oppose illegal immigration, open borders, affirmative action, and the war on cops is quintessentially conservative. Favoring unrestricted illegal immigration, porous borders, government-mandated racial discrimination, and urging the assassination of police officers as these left-wingers do, is profoundly un-American. And the last time I checked “fascists” – a longtime favorite epithet hurled by the Left that is now being applied to Bannon and Trump – don’t support lowering taxes and reducing the size and scope of government. Steve Bannon is not a racist just as Donald Trump is not a racist. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you.
