“I. love.this.country!”- Donald Trump Election Night, 2016. Words that mattered so much more than Fox News and other news networks not calling the Election. “I love this country!” best describes 2016’s president-elect. And best describes the 60-million-plus Americans who made you president elect on November 8, 2016, Mr. Trump.
It’s coming up to Thanksgiving and after eight long years in the swamp, Americans have so much for which to be thankful. They have mothballed—at least for the next four years, and maybe beyond—the corporeal corruption of an administration there to “fundamentally transform” a country seen worldwide as Freedom’s Light. This is the time to celebrate the rescue of America from what patriots saw as a nation trapped by the almost impenetrable clutches of the Obama-Clinton cabal for for the better part of the last decade. It is time to put aside the nitpicking of who the Trump transition team chooses for which cabinet post. For all we know, unpopular choices could be the Trump way to get the left chasing after the wrong appointee; a strategy that gets the team getting whom they want positioned without the political hassle that always comes from on-the-attack Democrats. Plug your ears against the incessant talking heads, pundits and radio talk show hosts, some of them from the most unexpected of quarters, and dare to repeat to yourself with full meaning: “WE WON!” That’s not slapping a smiley face on things, it’s putting America back where it belongs: FIRST.

How about it, El Rushbo?

This holiday season, America should be ablaze with t-shirts, imprinted , red on white, with the words that have always been the truth “I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!“ Some radio talk show hosts have kept their audiences holding out for hope against all odds. How about it, El Rushbo? Can’t the genius behind Rush Revere’s plucky horse ‘Liberty’ do for adults what he’s already done for thousands of children being indoctrinated in public schools? During the holiday season, many adults are children at heart. Grown-ups believe in America as much as children do in Time Travel adventures with Liberty and Rush Revere. Meanwhile, don’t allow negativity to seep into your sense of well being. Forget what the shopworn Obama and Clinton may or may not do to keep The Donald from making it through to Inauguration Day because THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN, and the cork no longer fits the see-through, empty genie bottle.

Forget the collective chant coming from bused-in, paid-for rent-a-mobs out on the streets of your home town or city. The patriot chant ”USA! “USA! is far more popular and far louder. Shuck off the bumpersticker politics your own government is trying to make stick on you, the latest being “Patriotism is racism”. Patriotism is the lifeblood of America and has been ever since the days of its Founding Fathers. Count your blessings this Thanksgiving, and like the song suggests, “gather your loved ones near you”. Punctuate every Christmas Carol you hear while out in the mall with the one chant that never goes away: “USA! “USA! And if you need a change of pace, let the words of Donald Trump’s theme song, replace them. Don’t forget that the words “You can’t always get what you want” pertains to BOTH sides. Shout the words that brought about a long-awaited change in America from all of its rooftops: “WE WON!! Never forget to thank God Almighty that it was only through His help that we did.
