The media cannot get enough of President-elect Trump. Nothing he does is acceptable and his personality! His behaviour! While outside America President Obama talks about him as if he were a child, a miscreant as well, unable to focus on serious issues because well, he isn’t serious. What would have happened if Bush had called Obama not serious? And the media eats it up. They love to hear Trump being told what to do by the out-going President in a way that Obama would never have accepted on his way in. I listen to members of the media speak disparagingly of the new President-elect and wonder who do they think they are?
If nothing else the media agrees on one thing; he is irredeemable. Amongst other descriptions including racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic and a white racist, let us never forget he is a misogynist! And, dear God, he is a serial husband! Been married three times! And he had children with each wife! But unlike so many husbands who walk away or have a terrible relationship with their children, he has stayed by them, cared for them, taught them how to be decent human beings and they all love him and care for each other. Oy! Yet, women cannot attack him viciously enough or often enough. And that is one of the reasons they ran to Hillary.
Hillary. That paragon of virtue. After all she stayed by her man, Bill, when she knew he was a serial predator even before he became President. I’m not sure America knew. Bet she did. Remember all those interviews in the White House where she was disgusted with those lying wenches. And then when he practiced his trade in the White House, in the Oval office. When he had a woman sit beneath the President’s desk in the Oval Office and “make him happy,” both Hillary and Bill did their best to destroy her, along with all the other women who came out of the closet to accuse him of sexual assault. Today, when women came forward after Bill Cosby’s story got out, everyone praised the women for speaking up.
But Hillary and Bill, they never apologized for what they did to all the women, especially twenty year old Monica Lewinsky who two years ago reflected, “Sure, my boss took advantage of me, but I will always remain firm on this point: it was a consensual relationship. Any ‘abuse’ came in the aftermath, when I was made a scapegoat in order to protect his powerful position. . . . The Clinton administration, the special prosecutor’s minions, the political operatives on both sides of the aisle, and the media were able to brand me. And that brand stuck, in part because it was imbued with power.
I remember believing Hillary and Bill when they denounced Monica. It is not as if women don’t lie sometimes. That’s why we have courts. But Bill and Hill did a great job and so many women were so proud of Hillary standing by her man. But, this is 2016. And America knows that Bill is a sexual predator. Ok, alleged. He tried so hard to play with the word “is” in order to weasel out of the accusations and for those of you too young, here is the video of Bill trying to define the meaning of “is.” And then his famous statement “I did not have sex with that woman.” Goes with Senior Bush’s “Read my lips” when he talked about taxes. Both statements not worth the paper they were written on.
But Bill still went on to be beloved. His alleged serial attacks on women, forgotten. This is the man who sat with Arafat and Rabin to bring a Peace Agreement to the table. We should have known from the get-go that it would fail. The arbitrator was Sodom and Gomorrah in one.
But nothing Bill did (or does) was going to end the American love affair of him. Nothing. And so this alleged serial predator went on the hustings for his wife in 2008 for nominee of the Democratic Party and then helped get her elected Senator in New York and back on the hustings for President of the USA in 2016-up against that monster, that misogynist, Donald Trump.

Tell me America, how did you manage to embrace an “alleged” multiple serial predator, the possible First Gent, go to his rallies, ask for his autograph, give him kuvet and yet then attack Donald Trump? How did you do that? And media, how do you square that circle? How did you spend so much time on a man’s language and so little on a man’s actions? A man known for being a serial predator. A man who paid off one of his accusers. A man for whom words are not his problem; he’s great with massaging words. It’s his actions that are a serious problem.
How did you not think it necessary to ask what would happen to the White House if Bill returned after the dirt he left behind? Would you have let your 20 year old daughter be an intern in the Clinton White House? How is it that a man who is a pig in his actions, not words, his actions, is a hero and is given a free pass while a man who is crude is eviscerated? How is it that you did not ask Hillary how she could stand up for women and families and children when she stayed married to this serial predator?
And it never ends. Nothing but sympathy for poor Hillary, robbed of her turn to be anointed President. No running around trying to get schmutz on Hillary-why try-it’s right there to be reported. But don’t report on Hillary or the Democrats the way you report on the Republicans. Don’t shine a light in the dark-and not so dark corners of her life.
I am whiplashed from the moral swings of the American people and the media in particular. Is it any wonder that America is in decay?
