Most families who lost loved ones with jobs charged to serve and protect, set a place for someone only there in spirit at Thanksgiving Dinner.
They are the ones who know deep down at heart that there would be no holiday celebrations had it not been for those who gave their lives in foreign lands so that families could gather to celebrate Thanksgiving. They are the ones who would never let Thanksgiving slip by without saying the most fervent of prayers remembering the sacrifices of veterans and sincere ones that beg the Creator to keep all police officers safe in a day when a government in office ignores the number of police killed on duty; an administration that allows veterans to die without needed medical help or who return after serving their country to live homeless on the streets.
Canada Free Press’ adopted Thanksgiving Family this year is the John Minn Family in (Minnesota).
Great Grandfather Minn, with five children, 18 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren, sends this message to all:
“I would like you to join me in thanking those who literally put their lives on the line to keep us free and to rescue us from terrible situations.
“It takes very special persons who are those, the family members, who love and support those who protect us knowing that their family life stands a chance of being sacrificed so that we, the public, can move freely about the country. We give thanks for those families and for those who do those deeds so that we can know that the Military, the Highway Patrol, the Firefighters, and the Local police force are doing this for us under extreme danger to their very lives just to cover our vulnerabilities and we give thanks for those who to do that with honor.
“The terrorists hate those who protect us, and it is OUR DUTY to help and support those who protect us.
“Please join me this Thanksgiving by giving thanks for, and praying for the safety of those who protect us and for their families who give sacrificially, and also please give thanks to God for His love and care for us. May His “wings” be over the heroes in our midst.
“We give thanks also for individuals such as yourself. I wonder how many understand what a horrific problem it can be to gather information and then publish that information so the people do not "drown" in the darkness of this age.
“I am especially thankful to the police and the Deputies who took the time to help us out of some really "hair raising" situations, and I actually owe my life and the life of my family to them because they cared for us.
“You can imagine how grateful I was when I was able to return at least a portion of those favors and to have that deputy I helped say "Thank You! You saved my life". It just does not get much better than that.”
This is the Thanksgiving when Americans and freedom lovers worldwide FINALLY have something to celebrate.
For eight years they have been living under the deliberate Marxist misery of Barack Hussein Obama, whose administration has both invited and praised Black Lives Matter at the White House and who has never called out cop killers for their wanton slaughter of our best; under the brutal governance of a president who defiantly refuses to name the scourge of Islamic terrorism, claiming that global warming/climate change is the more serious one to human lives; whose immigration policies allow for American communities to be over-run with migrants never checked in any way for evil intent before admission.
This Thanksgiving millions are grateful that no matter how desperate global elitist-controlled Democrats try to portray it otherwise, Good Won Over Evil on November 8, 2016.
Just a little over two weeks ago, the Fundamental Transformation of America was stopped it its tracks.
