The Truth will always out

Generations of little kids embarking upon practicing deceit were warned by mothers catching them out and admonished, “The truth will out”. “The truth always comes out in the wash,” as my own Mother used to put it. In the generation of the present day the truth has become more illusive than ever.
Politics has paved the way to acceptance of liars on the basis that “everybody lies”. Even with the well-disseminated propaganda of a mainstream media raining down upon our heads; the lies of governments holding office the norm, the truth will out, albeit often later than when we hoped. The truth can be suppressed, hidden and even sent out to the front of the stage dressed up as the gilded lily in the trappings of falsehoods and lies. Yet when we look back we find that the truth was always there waiting to be found. Even though lie tellers become ever more Machiavellian to keep us from getting to the truth, we continue to search it out. The truth is the only thing that keeps the world we were born into able to seek justice; truth is the Number One sustainer in keeping everyday life rational. Have you ever noticed that even when stashed down to the very bottom of the bag of deceit, even with the boldest of lies out there masquerading as the truth, we somehow always find the way to unearth it?

Ever notice how there’s a certain ring to the truth upon hearing it that shows us the way in the most confusing of lie-packaged times? With propaganda gaining ground in the lib-left’s desperate attempt to gain more control of our lives, I cling to the ancient words of the prayer called both ‘St. Patrick’s Breastplate’ and ‘The Cry of the Deer’, passed my way by dear friends Ralph and Margaret, which reads in part: “I arise today, through The Strength of heaven, The light of the sun, The radiance of the moon, The splendor of fire, The speed of lightning, The swiftness of the wind, The depth of the sea, The stability of the earth, The firmness of rock. “I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me, God’s might to uphold me, God’s wisdom to guide me, God’s eye to look before me, God’s ear to hear me, God’s word to speak for me, God’s hand to guard me, God’s shield to protect me, God’s host to save me From snares of devils, From temptation of vices, From everyone who shall wish me ill, afar and near.

“I summon today All these powers between me and these evils, Against every cruel and merciless power that may oppose my body and soul, Against incantations of false prophets, Against black laws of pagandom, Against false laws of heretics, Against craft of idolatry, Against spells of witches and smiths and wizards, Against every knowledge that corrupts body and soul: Christ shield me today Against poison, against burning Against drowning, against wounding So that there may come to me an an abundance of reward. “Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.” We should all remember what our mothers always taught us; that In the end, one way or the other, the truth will always out. Next to God, mothers have always been the best protectors on Earth. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. --Gospel According to Saint John Chapter 8, Line 32 Proof positive that the truth will always out because that’s the way our Creator wills it.
