Stunning that this level of stupidity exists

Watch Tucker Carlson make a fool of a college history professor and Castro apologist

I suppose, after watching it for decades, the left-wing’s contortion act shouldn’t surprise me. They'll ignore any atrocity, turn a blind eye to any body count, and employ the most twisted logic imaginable, as long as the end result serves their agenda. I've watched it play out time and time again. Yet still, when someone is willing to defend the likes of Fidel Castro, I'm rendered speechless. Yet, here we are.
Castro is dead. That simple fact should be hailed as good news by any sane person. No, it doesn't mean there will be overnight change for the people of Cuba, but it's at least a step in the right direction. So how is the American left spending the week? They're mourning this violent, murderous, torturous tyrant. In the clip below, you'll see a Castro apologist mount his best argument. It's as feeble as you'd imagine. At one point, he actually argues that the people fleeing Cuba are unfaithful husbands looking for new families. I present it to you not because he's such an idiot - though that's certainly the case - and not because it's fun to watch host Tucker Carlson destroy his arguments. I present it because this guy is a college history professor at Canisius College in Buffalo. Let that sink in. This guy teaches people about the history of the world, and - in defiance of all logic - is willing to go on TV and defend Fidel Castro.

For the record, Tucker nails it here. This is all about anti-Americanism. To the left, The United States is the enemy. As Jill Stein tweeted the other day, we are the "empire" they seek to diminish. They'll support anyone who successfully defies us, no matter how barbaric they may be, and they'll consider it a win. Look, I don't get into the "where you send your kids to school" argument very often. That's none of my business. However, I have to wonder about any college that would employ someone like this. Surely, a person looking for an education can do better.
