Has Melissa Leon even watched one of the Star Wars movies?

Star Wars is about white supremacy, according to the Daily Beast

-- BombThrowers At first I thought it was a joke. Melissa Leon wrote an article published Nov. 27 at the Daily Beast about Star Wars actor Mark Hamill’s dumb thoughts about President-elect Donald Trump cabinet. It’s not surprising that Hamill is saying outrageous things about Trump and company — idiot actors say stupid things about politics every day. What caught my eye is Leon’s assertion that race defines the Star Wars movie franchise.

The stupidity is strong in this one

The opening sentence of her article reads: “A week after Election Day, on the first Tuesday in America’s new, uncertain reality, the man who once symbolized a rebellion’s hope against a white supremacist empire is aghast.” [See screen grab below.) A white supremacist empire? Has Leon ever watched one of the Star Wars movies? She also makes a less important error, writing of the “newly anointed White House strategist, ex-Breitbart editor Steve Bannon[.]” In fact, Bannon wasn’t an editor at Breitbart. He was its executive chairman. Sloppy work.
