David Brock flakes out, quits CREW after just 2 years

David Brock is quitting as chairman at the George Soros-funded alleged watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). He’d only been part of the CREW crew two years, reports Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller. “Due to my stepped up political activities in the American Bridge opposition research super PAC, I decided to step off CREW’s board to ensure its public reputation for non-partisanship,” Brock said.
“I’m very proud of the work CREW has accomplished during my two years on board, and its work is more relevant now than ever.” Ross observes, “The move is part of a massive restructuring effort taking place on the Left in the wake of Donald Trump’s White House win.” Or Brock left CREW because he thought somebody was out to get him. Seriously. Brock is demonstrably paranoid. He has suffered at least one full-blown mental breakdown. In summer 2001 he “was committed to the psychiatric ward of Sibley Hospital in Northwest Washington,” according to an exclusive Drudge Report story.
