Berlin Wall of California

It looks like the left perceives reality as its worst enemy and is determined to fight to keep delusions alive "by any means necessary". Meaning no disrespect to California's patriots whose voices can be more muffled than in other states, local oligarchs seem hell-bent on turning the place into the last bastion of leftist agenda.

Recently sworn in as the Attorney General of California, Xavier Becerra is already bragging "I will find ways to stop Trump's wall"; meanwhile local leftocrats have been for long laying bricks of corruption, political favoritism and "foreign aid" building a Berlin Wall look-alike. I doubt if Rubens would bother to depict the nature of the three disgraces, but unbiased media should--Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein joined forces against U.S President Donald Trump and and people who want him to keep electoral promises. If Kamala Harris had slightest respect for victims of genocide, she would not dare to try to make Holocaust Memorial Day all about the presumed "Muslim ban". Mrs. Harris is clearly opting for what leftists' own political correctness would define as "divisive rhetoric", and she should listen to Louis Farrakhan who clearly understands the necessary security measures better than she does. Nancy Pelosi promotes her usual political hysteria while condemning the President's unsubstantiated "cruelty", and Senator Feinstein regrets that" the President has chosen this dark path for our country". Well, Western European leftist leaders opted for the "brighter path", the one paved with bodies of defenseless victims of terror attacks. In 2015, L.A Mayor Eric Garcetti backed off his vow to get every homeless Veteran off city streets by the end of the year, simultaneously urging Obama to increase the number of Syrian refugees that he was somehow able to welcome.

These days the capital of homeless Veterans has yet another priority and can splurge on a 10 million dollar "defense fund" for "immigrants" facing deportation. Unless California has a unique law defining Old Glory as "a placard" and America's defender as a defendant , the local elite is allowing itself harassment and coercive measures towards American Veterans. Not only has VA police handcuffed and persecuted Veterans for proudly displaying the American flag, but local "justice" threatens to jail their "Vet hates" and keeps the national flag in...an evidence room. The Berlin Wall constructed by German Democrats separated people from freedom and allowed the regime's oligarchy to thrive within the enclosure. It looks like today California's leftocrats fancy themselves as rulers of an isolated kingdom. Earth to political La la land: California is a state in the United States of America and Donald Trump is the President of the United States. Giving priority to "foreign aid" while America's defenders are homeless, turning honorable Veterans and Old Glory into political prisoners, spitting on the American President while kissing up to foreign leaders, wasting taxpayers' money and going against security measures that protect American people--it sounds more and more like a foreign country, and not even an ally of the U.S.A. It looks like before building the security wall, the new government will have to knock down curtain walls surrounding the last bastions of the leftist agenda...
