A permanent travel ban by these and other Muslim countries against Jews who hold Israeli passports is a far greater concern than temporary travel restrictions

Where is the Outrage Over Travel Bans for Jews to Muslim Countries?

ORLANDO, FL - The executive order signed by President Trump last week, which temporarily halts for 90 days nationals of seven countries from entering the United States, has generated an uproar by some. Yet, why are the same people silent about travel bans imposed by these and other Muslim countries against Jews who hold Israeli passports?
The seven countries, previously identified as high risk for being hotbeds of terrorism by former President Obama's Department of Homeland Security, are: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Temporary travel restrictions have been issued by prior presidents, including Obama. However, a permanent travel ban by these and other Muslim countries against Jews who hold Israeli passports is a far greater concern than temporary travel restrictions. Jews with Israeli passports are currently forbidden from entering the following 16 Muslim countries: Syria, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. "Why is a temporary ban on some people from seven countries that sponsor terrorism outrageous but a permanent ban on Israeli Jews is never mentioned?" said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel and President of Christians in Defense of Israel and Covenant Journey. "Anti-Semitism is more widespread than most people imagine. The only reason these Muslim countries permanently ban Israeli Jews while the rest of the world is silent can only be explained by hatred against Jews. The temporary travel restriction to the United States is due to national security concerns. The permanent travel ban against Israeli Jews to these Muslim countries is due to anti-Semitism. This is where the outrage ought to be focused," said Staver.
