New York Times, too.

Piers Morgan is finally right about something: CNN 'stinks'

"It stank." That's the word from Piers Morgan regarding CNN's coverage of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential victory and the network’s collusion with the DNC. Morgan made his comments during last night's installment of "Tucker Carlson Tonight."
Asked if he was surprised by CNN's efforts to help Hillary Clinton, Piers said:
"I was a bit, yeah. I don't know how directly involved CNN were, but I do know though that you look at what happened with Donnna Brazille and some of the other characters involved, it stank frankly. And it brought to light I think Donald Trump's main beef with the media, which is that it's a two-way street - this question of respect and honesty. And he has felt for quite some time I think, that a lot of people in the mainstream media, for want of a better phrase, are absolutely determined to bring him down. And I think he's got a point. I think some of them absolutely are. They were in the tank for Hillary Clinton, their candidate didn't win, and now they are utterly determined to bring the Trump presidency crashing down."

Wow. That's a rare moment of clarity for a guy who was guilty of partisanship, misinformation, and poor research when he was ranting about gun control. Because Piers can't be 100% right about anything, he did try to defend CNN anchors - something, we should bear in mind, he used to be. He claims that "the vast majority of people who work there, particularly the anchors, have great integrity. I don’t think they would want to be party to any of this kind of stuff.” Piers believes it's just the low-level employees who are shilling for the Democrats. That's demonstrably false. The constant left-wing bias displayed by the actual hosts is as widely recognized as it is painfully obvious. The network's nickname, "Clinton News Network," is well-earned. Besides, Piers just name-checked Donna Brazille. While not an anchor, she was certainly a high-profile figure at the network. So, maybe Piers is looking out for friends, auditioning, or protecting his own body of work when he was with CNN. Regardless, it's nice to see him admit at least a portion of the truth. ...And the shots he takes at the New York Times are even more pointed. You can watch the whole segment below.
