While World Leaders Contend with Islamic Terrorism, Trudeau Pushes ban on Islamophobia

The day after the ISIS-admitted terrorist attack that rocked British Parliament on Wednesday and Canada is getting ready to pass M-103, in a back-door ban of “Islamophobia”. As Desmond McGrath wrote in an open letter to M-103 author, MP Iqra Khalid: “No one -- neither media, nor politicians -- even bothered to ask whether there is a significant connection between the virulent Jew-hatred being preached in mosques and the disproportionately high occurrence of hate crimes against Jews. Instead, the entire Canadian parliament is preoccupied with banning “Islamophobia”.
Update: House of Commons passes anti-Islamophobia motion M-103 Oh, how I wish the superb writer Katie Hopkins were here, instead of over there in Britain. Read her piece here to understand why. For the longest time now, Canada has been smugly shirking all duties when it comes to standing up to the evil known as Islamic terrorism. Sadly, today’s move to make citizen criticism or even verbalized anxiety about Islamic terrorism, parliament-decreed “Islamophobia” is not the first duck-for-cover Canadian political response to terrorism. Some, even in this (mostly) one-party Liberal nation will ponder forever where was the Canadian support when allies joined the Americans in Iraq in the aftermath of 9/11. For all, save the nine years when Conservative Stephen Harper was prime minister, Canada has been under the politically correct Liberal control of prime ministers Jean Chréitien, Paul Martin and now heart-throb Justin Trudeau.

Wishy-washy Liberals in Canadian Parliament

It isn’t that the Canadian people don’t want their government to protect them from Islamic terrorism, it’s their Liberal government trying to hide behind legislated Islamophobia. Polls show that almost 50% of Canadians don’t want Trudeau’s ‘refugees’ brought into this country. “In a national outpouring of sympathy for the loss of lives in the unforgettable 9/11 tragedy, more than 100,000 Canadians filed onto Parliament Hill to show solidarity with their heartbroken American neighbours. (Canada Free Press, April 26, 2004)
“And there was very little they and the scores of Newfoundlanders who had opened their homes to stranded air passengers on the darkest of days could do when their politically correct Prime Minister banned the use of the word "God" in prayers.”
Wishy-washy Liberals in Canadian Parliament think that coming up with a ‘non-binding’ motion condemning Islamophobia under penalty of fines or jail will hold Islamic terrorism at bay. If it didn’t on October 22, 2014 when a gun-toting Michael Zehaf-Bibeau stormed into Centre Block after killing a soldier standing on guard at the National War Memorial, why would it now?

Weak, pliable and recognized more for his looks than his brains, Trudeau, who calls himself a “feminist” did not postpone the M-103

Today’s was Trudeau’s only reference to the Canadian terrorist attack on Parliament Hill as he let its first anniversary pass by without a single word after being elected as Canada’s prime minister. Just like the Brits, Canadians should be careful about whom they elect to lead them. Weak, pliable and recognized more for his looks than his brains, Trudeau, who calls himself a “feminist” did not postpone the M-103 vote the day after yesterday’s terrorist attack in Britain took the lives of four people, leaving some 20 more wounded. Pro-Sharia MPs came in with the tide when Barack Obama’s election campaign team helped get Trudeau elected. All it took for tolerance of Islamist terrorism to get its foot in the door in Canada was the election of Iqra Khalid. Trying to seal the lips of their people with an unbinding law on an undefined Islamophobia will not protect Canadians from terrorist attack. Oh, how I wish Katie Hopkins were here rather than the Trudeau government-compliant, taxpayer-funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)! Update: House of Commons passes anti-Islamophobia motion M-103 OTTAWA – The House of Commons has passed a Liberal backbencher’s motion calling on federal politicians to condemn Islamophobia. The motion, known as M-103, became a matter of acrimonious debate, with opponents painting it as a slippery slope towards limiting freedom of speech and even bringing in Sharia law.
