WhatFinger

The Islamophobic industry deals in a dictatorship of thought, and here is the blunt, inescapable fact: Shariah by any other name is censorship. Intellectual terrorism precedes and follows jihad in London, Brussels, Fort Hood and Orlando

Terrorism from the Swamp

"If I send you a machinegun and tell you it is a baby carriage, and I send it to you wheel by wheel and nut by nut and you do not know until you have assembled the thing that it is a machinegun and not a baby carriage," that is exactly what has happened to this country. We are being sold machineguns without knowing it is [a]machinegun." -- (Testimony of Bella Dodd, Scope of Soviet Activity in the United States, U.S. Senate, Subcommittee to Investigate the Administration of the Internal Security Act and Other Internal Security Laws of the Committee of the Judiciary, June 12, 1956, p. 1481)

Strategy

That quote by Bella Dodd, a defector from the Communist Party, was referring to the communist cadre and their fellow travelers present in the U.S. who were amazingly successful in mobilizing the intelligentsia in this country. And they achieved tremendous political and cultural control over government, education, the media, and religion. But it is even more descriptive of the radical Islamists intent on harming this country and implementing Shariah law. The left successfully weaponized their narrative from the 1930s through 2000 through censorship, bullying, and power. Non-acceptable words (and thoughts) were communism, treason, and traitor. Progressive was in, as was "red scare," "witch hunt" and "McCarthyism." The bullying was simply to thwart legitimate questions about people and ideologies that seek to destroy America. And the "tele" hardly ever showed the millions subjected to the social injustice of the Gulag. This strategy was so effective that today's adults know little or nothing about the communist infiltration of the U.S. during that period of our history.

Same Strategy

This same strategy of censorship, bullying, and power is being played out with radical Islam, in spite of the occasional interruption with a news alert on the latest terror attack.

The left essentially blacklisted investigators and whistle-blowers like Pat McCarran, Martin Dies, Frederick Coudert and Joseph McCarthy, the latter the rosetta stone of anti-anti-communism. As the late Stan Evans pointed out "McCarthyism" was an alleged focus of political evil in the 1950s: accusations of Communist taint, without any factual basis; bogus "lists" of supposed Communists who never existed; failure in the end to produce even one provable Communist or Soviet agent, despite his myriad charges of subversion. Yet McCarthy identified no less than 50 members of the Communist Party active in the U.S., and the Rapp-Coudert investigation exposed 1,000 communist teachers- - "the single largest bloc of Communist teachers in the country." (Iversen, Robert W., The Communists and the Schools (New York: Harcourt Brace & Co. 1959), p. 209. Millenials, weaned on daycare, Disney, and cultural Marxism, have been trained not to question, not to be curious about the past or phrases like "McCarthyism" bandied about promiscuously. To note these facts is to hear cries of racist, sexist, homophobe, or "McCarthyism." Add Islamophobic to that chant. And note the recent attempt to change the wording of Trump's immigration order from "radical islamic terrorism" to Obama-era language about countering violent extremism. Attempted propaganda in motion.

Out of the Night

Suddenly Trump tweeted out "this is McCarthyism" in relation to alleged collusion with the Russians during the election. The tweet landed on a barren wasteland with no historical foundation. A noise in the night of ignorance. Going one step further, how does the media process the charge that "Islamophobia is the new McCarthyism." How clever to associate it with "McCarthyism," a guaranteed fingernails on the blackboard response. This is propaganda 202. They no more understand McCarthyism, witch hunt, or red scare than Russian bots do.... But the apparatchiks will obey their handlers and compliantly associate it with Islamophobia.

Censorship

The U.S. has had effective censorship for decades. We just don't use the "c" word. We use p.c. The dearth of knowledge about this historical period serves as definitive proof. The Propaganda Ministry in coordination with the democratic party, and academia's left distorted or hid the truth of both current and past events, and today's adults are nearly illiterate about current events and have even less knowledge of the history of their own country, as western civilization continues to be replaced by courses in "whiteness" and "privilege." Many have identified this as a "literacy crisis." The West's inability to fight terrorism is the thesis of Battle for Our Minds: Western Elites and the Terror Threat, by Michael Widlanski, a specialist in Arab politics and journalist who argues that political correctness has stifled the West's ability to understand and fight terror. Slouching Toward Shariah. Certainly not all Muslims, but the radical Islamists, have entered the realm of censorship. We saw this with the terrorist attacks under Obama when he refused to use the words Islam or ISIS in referring to the jihadist in Orlando, and the "workplace violence" at Fort Hood. Ditto after San Bernardino when Loretta Lynch threatened to prosecute those who use "Anti-Muslim" speech that edges toward violence." P.C. has become a deadly fiction out of a Clockwork Orange landscape where many no longer exercise good judgment to either protect themselves or others from life threatening danger, as evidenced in San Bernardino when a woman had suspicions about some of the people but was afraid to speak out.

Online Censorship

Censorship also includes the instances when accurate reporting of events such as crucifixions, executions, rape and terrorism casts condemnation, not on the crimes, but on the reporter describing the events. UK and European ISPS have online censorship and are blocking Jihad Watch. In this gulag the Muslim convert who perpetrated the terrorism in Westminster was "Asian." Globe & Mail columnist says the London jihadi "not Muslim," "extremists" often come from "Christian families." A further stage in censorship is passing laws to e.g., outlaw "hate speech." Don't look north but the Canadian House of Commons just passed an anti-Islamophobia motion. The U.N. has proclaimed (don't laugh) that "regulating" 'Hate' Speech is 'Not an Attack on Free Speech. And now Theresa May digs in her heels with the "fight against terrorism and hate speech has to be a joint one."

Fatwas

Has anyone seen Salman Rushdie? Nigel Farage is under investigation for speaking of the rape statistics in Sweden. Nonie Darwish, Ayaa Hirsi as well as others who reside in the U.S. still ruled by the Constitution are also under a fatwa. And don't forget the big fatwa against all Americans and their allies: "On that basis, and in compliance with Allah's order, we issue the following fatwa to all Muslims: The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies -- civilians and military -- is an individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it...." This brings us to the ultimate question: what is the punishment for "blasphemy"? Capital punishment. No tolerance. Someone can be sentenced to death. The Islamophobic industry deals in a dictatorship of thought, and here is the blunt, inescapable fact: Shariah by any other name is censorship. Intellectual terrorism precedes and follows jihad in London, Brussels, Fort Hood and Orlando. Through Shariah-leaning policies Americans will buy into Shariah. Until Cher makes Shariah- - cultural chic. Churchill spoke eloquently of the dictators of totalitarianism: "They are afraid of words and thoughts; words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home - all the more powerful because forbidden - terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic. They make frantic efforts to bar our thoughts and words; they are afraid of the workings of the human mind." (Winston Churchill Oct. 16, 1938)
