So, it IS a story then?

CNN's John King rips Susan Rice for her obvious lie - basically indicts his own network in the process

The intelligentsia at CNN has been falling all over itself to try and pretend that the Susan Rice bombshell is something you should ignore. As Don Lemon made perfectly clear, CNN doesn't believe there's a story here, they aren't interested in covering it, and they won't help a bunch of crazed right-wingers promote a conspiracy theory. Here's Lemon shortly after the big news broke:
That's pretty blunt, yes? Sit down, shut up, ignore what we tell you to ignore, and believe what we tell you to believe. It's been the attitude offered by most of CNN's top "journalists." Unfortunately, though, it seems John King didn't get the memo. He noticed that Susan Rice lied through her teeth just a couple of weeks ago, and it doesn't sound like he's buying her phony story now. As he puts it, "welcome to the witness list." So here's the question facing the drones at CNN: Is this still a ginned-up non-story that we should all ignore, or is it the story of a former national security advisor and political operative who's on "the witness list" because she's been caught - once again - telling a bald-faced lie to the American people? You can't have it both ways. Please, let us know when you've decided what exactly it is you'll be carrying the administration's water for.
