"Ultimately folks will rally around a positive solution."

Exclusive interview with HHS Secretary Tom Price: ObamaCare repeal/replace has to happen

I was honored yesterday to have Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price on the radio show yesterday, and he made it clear that ObamaCare repeal-and-replace is still very much on the docket. Not only that, but he's encouraged by the discussions going on amongst different Republican factions. If you've got 11 minutes to listen, you'll be glad you did:
Not only do Republicans on Capitol Hill understand that people will rally around a positive solution, but they also understand that the ObamaCare exchanges are failing. Premiums and deductibles are soaring and care options are narrowing. This is not what the architects of ObamaCare promised, but this is what you get when the federal government presumes to dictate what everyone has to do. By the way, Secretary Price has the opportunity to roll back as many as 1,400 ObamaCare regulations, and he shared with me that he's already started reviewing these and identifying the best opportunities. Many of these were put in by the Obama Administration using the authority established by the ObamaCare statute, and Price made clear that if it harms patients and drives up costs, the regulation is either going to be modified or gone entirely. Enjoy the interview! And keep an eye on the ongoing efforts to repeal and replace ObamaCare, because it's coming.
