Barack Obama learned it from watching you, Hillary!

Filthy one-percenter prepares to accept an astronomical $400,000.00 for one speech

Democrats, as we all know, loathe the so-called "one percent." We all know their ranks are clogged with over payed movie-stars, "woke" CEO's, and career politicians who, like Harry Reid, inexplicably manage to make millions in the public service arena, but that's not the point. Those one-percenters are OK because they toe the left-wing line. Being wealthy is only a problem if you try to stand up to their agenda. Occasionally, that plays out in interesting ways. During the 2016 election, the Bernie-loving socialists were thrilled when Sanders attacked Hillary Clinton's outrageous Wall Street speaking fees. The issue came up, repeatedly, during the debates - and it was a crowd-pleaser every time.
With that in mind, we're oh-so-sure that the Bernie Bros are going to maintain their long history of integrity and criticize Barack Obama. It seems that he, like Hillary, is a filthy one-percenter who (when he's not jetting around the world to hob-knob with billionaires) is earning $400,000.00 for one Wall Street speech. From The Hill:
Former President Obama has agreed to speak at a Wall Street conference for $400,000, according to a new report. Obama will appear at Cantor Fitzgerald LP’s healthcare conference in September, Fox Business Network first reported Monday. Fox Business said it confirmed Obama’s appearance with senior members at Cantor, a financial services firm. Obama will serve as the keynote speaker for one day at the company's event, sources there told Fox Business. The network's sources said Obama has signed a contract for the speech with the mid-size investment bank in New York.

Wall Street!? That's, like, totally the worst place on Earth! Even an entry-level outraged Social Justice Warrior with a vagina hat knows that! For the record, $400,000.00 is more than 99% of Americans will earn this entire year. That places Obama squarely in the much-despised one percent, and he'll do it with just one hour's worth of work. We won't hold our breath waiting for the condemnation. As I said above, he's the "right kind" of rich. As always, it's important to point out that conservatives have no problem with wealth. Financial success is a great thing. If I was Barack Obama, I'd be cashing in too. However, he's the face of a movement that relentlessly chastises successful people, demands the confiscation of ever-larger chunks of their income, and - even when they oblige - accuses them of "not paying their fair share." He spent 8 years playing an impressively efficient class warfare game, and his supporters bought it hook, line, and sinker. If you listened to the rhetoric regurgitated by this former president and his party, you'd think the wealthy were the source of all the nation's ills.

Yet here he is, commanding fees that dwarf even those of the Clinton cabal, and we hear crickets from the left. The hypocrisy is staggering, if completely expected. If you're wondering "what he could possibly say to warrant that kind of fee," you're not alone. We've endured nearly a decade of his non-stop blather. There's nothing new here. You know everything this man thinks on virtually every subject. So, the question becomes, what makes him worth such an extravagant price tag?
