Anthony 'Carlos Danger' Weiner to plead guilty - comes to completion of underage sexting case

Carlos Danger, possibly better known by the equally embarrassing moniker "Anthony Weiner," has come to point of completion in his sexting scandal. As you're no doubt aware, Weiner embarrassed his wife (and damaged Hillary's presidential bid) by sexting and sharing photos of his nether-regions with at least one underaged girl. Then he did it again. ...And again. ...Ad nauseam. You can witness her abject humiliation, as it happened, in the video below. Still, his doting Mrs. stood by him. Just like Hillary Clinton, feminist icon Huma Abedin sucked up the disrespect and refused to leave her man. To this day, the world's most understanding - yet totally empowered - woman says that she and her hubby are working on their relationship.

Carlos pleads guilty and registers as a sex offender

Depending on your point of view, that "work" will either be easier or harder once Carlos pleads guilty and registers as a sex offender. From the New York Times:
Anthony D. Weiner, the former Democratic congressman whose “sexting” scandals ended his political career and embroiled him in a tumultuous F.B.I. investigation of Hillary Clinton before the election, is to appear in a federal courtroom in Manhattan on Friday to enter a guilty plea. The information has not been made public but was related by two people who have been briefed on the matter and asked not to be identified. Mr. Weiner will plead guilty to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor, pursuant to a plea agreement with the United States attorney’s office in Manhattan, one of the people said. Mr. Weiner surrendered to the F.B.I. early Friday morning.
So, what are the possible penalties involved? He will probably end up registering as a sex offender and, yes, there's a slim chance of jail time...

Clinton ally. Strings will be pulled, favors called in, and - barring a rogue judge - the lightest possible sentence will be doled out in a gentle fashion

The plea covers conduct by Mr. Weiner from January through March of last year, the person said. A likely result of the plea is that Mr. Weiner would end up as a registered sex offender, although a final determination has yet to be made, the person added. The charge carries a potential sentence of between zero and 10 years in prison, meaning Mr. Weiner could avoid prison. The ultimate sentence would be determined by a judge.
Any "average joe" would be looking at - at the very least - a short stint in the slammer. However, this will be happening in New York. The state is owned, lock, stock, and barrel, by the Democrat machine. Cynic that I am, I'd be surprised if he gets anything more than a tongue lashing. Forget prison, I'll be impressed if he even has to register as a sex offender. As much as Hillary may hate to admit it, he's a Clinton ally. Strings will be pulled, favors called in, and - barring a rogue judge - the lightest possible sentence will be doled out in a gentle fashion. They don't care about equal application of the law, they just want this story gone.
