On Friday, after a Minnesota court acquitted former police officer Jeronimo Yanez of manslaughter in the shooting death of black motorist Philando Castile in July 2016, Kaepernick tweeted the following. "A system that perpetually condones the killing of people, without consequence, doesn't need to be revised, it needs to be dismantled!"That's probably not a terribly controversial statement, except for the fact that we don't have such a system.
