What a FAILED 'Skinny Repeal' means to the public

Many of us were not big fans of "skinny repeal" to begin with, but at least it was a step in the right direction. Forty-Nine Republicans in the Senate reluctantly agreed with that line of thinking. Sadly, Senators Murkowski, Collins and McCain (consummate RINO's all) decided to protect Obama's 'signature legislation', along with forty-eight Democrats. They've failed to get rid of the Democrats' disastrous health care law and there's plenty of blame to go around. There are also plenty of individual members of congress who deserve to feel the sting of that blame. I'll let the media noise chamber handle that. I want to give my take on what it means to all of us.

Democrat scare tactics

The nearly 80% of us who have health insurance through our employer will not see an immediate impact on health insurance premiums and deductibles. But, expect insurance companies to push increases on your employer by the end 2018. Your employer will then have to decide how much they can afford to push on to the employees. People who are buying health insurance directly from the individual market at unaffordable prices will see no cost relief anytime soon. Some of these people are already suffering the most with unaffordable costs, and penalties for choosing to not purchase Obamacare defined health insurance. People on Medicaid will not be affected cost-wise, but they can expect a gradual tightening of healthcare services provided in a feeble attempt by the federal bureaucrats to control costs. Sadly, those attempts have only caused more doctors to just stop seeing Medicaid patients. The 18 out of 22 Obamacare bankrupt exchanges are not coming back, which means some counties will have only one provider if any at all. People in these counties will be the hardest hit, as we feel the financial pain going into 2018. The Democrats have a set of number which supposedly show how many people are being helped by ObamaCare. Their numbers are totally bogus. The data put out by the CBO has never been correct, but the Democrats keep using the numbers anyway because those numbers support their scare tactics.

Senate Minority leader, Chuck Schumer, just this week admitted that the Democrats want a single payer

Senate Minority leader, Chuck Schumer, just this week admitted that the Democrats want a single payer, socialized health care system. That means more bad news for the public, higher taxes, and health care rationing. This is the direction the Democrats want to push Republicans, which is why none of them voted for any of the Republican proposals, and all Democrats voted to shove Obamacare down our throats. The Democrats lied to the American people in 2010, and now they will begin a new set of lies about single payer being the way to go. We can all expect a few cowardly RINOs to go along with them. Yes, I'm disgusted with the outcome and the situation in which it leaves us all. However, we will continue to tell people the truth, and we will not forget or let you forget in 2018.
