WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Donald Trump will nominate Gov. Samuel Dale Brownback of Kansas to be Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, Department of State. In the ambassadorship, Gov. "I commend President Trump for nominating Gov. Sam Brownback as Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom at the State Department," said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. "Innocent people around the world are imprisoned, tortured, and persecuted for their faith. Christians and religious minorities are suffering more persecution than at any time in history. Gov.
