UN audience audibly shocked when Trump calls socialism a 'discredited ideology'

This morning, I posted a video of the United Nations speech given today by President Trump. If you haven't watched the whole thing, I highly recommend doing so HERE. However, if you haven't got time to watch all 45 minutes right now, allow me to draw your attention to one quick snippet. Not only does it contain one of Trump's (so far) best lines, it's also illustrative of the inarguable fact that the UN is a big, stinking, pile of hot garbage. The segment centers around Venezuela, and President Trump's absolutely correct assessment of socialism:
"The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented. From the Soviet Union to Cuba toVenezuela — wherever true socialism or communism has been adopted, it has delivered anguish, and devastation, and failure. Those who preach the tenets of these discredited ideologies only contribute to the continued suffering of the people who live under these cruel systems. America stands with every person living under a brutal regime."
That should be inarguable. It should be so obvious that, upon hearing it, no sane person would bat an eye. If all was right with the world, the so-called leaders gathered at the UN would find this no more controversial than suggesting "the sky is blue and water is wet." ...Yet listen to the stunned silence, nervous laughter, half-hearted applause, and gasps from the audience when they're confronted with a U.S. President who's willing to utter the truth of communism and socialism:
Forget all the United Nations' other problems. We can complain about the fact that racist, misogynist, fascist, terrorist nations sit on the human rights council until we're blue in the face, but we really don't need to. History has indeed shown that the inevitable result of both socialism and communism is extraordinary suffering. The fact that this worthless assembly is shocked by someone who would dare address that fact tells you pretty much everything you need to know about its agenda. This alone should be reason enough to doubt its value.
