RINOs, you're wrong!

About those four RINOs (including . . . Ted Cruz?) who just saved ObamaCare again

To say that I'm disappointed and disgusted with the so-called Republicans in the Senate is an understatement. Senators McCain, Collins, Paul and now Cruz killed a vote on the Graham-Cassidy bill to begin easing the pain of the disastrous Unaffordable Care Act. As a result, the UCA will remain. This means lack of health insurance competition in many U.S. counties. It means sustained chokingly high health insurance premium rates for millions of people who buy health insurance on the individual market. It means millions of people will have no health insurance coverage due to chokingly high deductibles.

Democrats continued march toward a single-payer (government-controlled) health care and health insurance system

The defeat of Graham-Cassidy means more than eight million people will elect to pay the health insurance penalty, rather than buy health insurance they can't afford or do not want. It means that millions of people making nearly $100,000 a year for a family of four can continue to qualify for Medicaid, if they don't qualify for UCA subsidies. The defeat of the Graham-Cassidy bill means companies and group health insurance buyers are in waiting to see how much they will be screwed by the insurance companies with higher rates this fall. I guess some people did not know that legislative disasters drive up rates. Surprise! The Graham-Cassidy bill was never perfect, but it was not a disaster. The RINOs and the Democrats in Congress are calling this a victory. Yes, a victory for maintaining a disaster and the continuing health insurance pain the American people are enduring. It's a victory for the Democrats continued march toward a single-payer (government-controlled) health care and health insurance system. Yep! It's a victory toward replacing a disaster with an even bigger disaster. This is also a victory for the lies used by the Democrats only to shove the disastrous UCA down our throats in 2010. It's a victory for the lack of transparency and the stupidity of some of the American people. It's a victory for politics as usual, as the political swamp moves on to screw up another initiative that would be good for the people. Yep! These same RINOs will find a way to defeat tax simplification and tax cuts to help protect the swamp.

Political swamp in Washington, D.C. will do nothing to ease the health care, health insurance pain that people are enduring

I have no confidence that this political swamp in Washington, D.C. will do anything to ease the health care and health insurance pain that people are enduring. It seems as if it does not matter which political party controls Congress, the results are the same. But don't get me wrong! I'm not voting for any Democrats, because they get it wrong all of the time with more big government "solutions" that aren't solutions at all. The Republicans only get it wrong some of the time. We just witnessed another example.
