Rationalization versus Justification

One after another, the left continues to stand firm encouraging bad behavior by making excuses for it. Problem? Not only is it coming from the Hollywood elite as in Harvey Weinstein's inconsistent attorney backpedaling for his abhorrent sexual harassment but even the FBI is lending cover to violence. Example:
"The FBI assesses it is very likely Black Identity Extremist (BIE) perceptions of police brutality against African Americans spurred an increase in premeditated, retaliatory lethal violence against law enforcement and will very likely serve as justification for such violence..."
Before this is junked as being nitpicky, let's point out that the FBI appears to be compromised since the disabling leadership of men like James Comey who seem willing to place partisan politics above application of the law. Lies and cover-ups have become commonplace after the Obama administration's fast-tracking elimination of Constitution supporters from all bureaucratic ranks. A significant circumstance since the new administration has yet to act on removing them from office and replacing them with constitutionalists. Clarification is called for regarding the FBI statement. There is a difference between 'justification' and 'rationalization.' The statement should have used the latter term in this instance because that is what the BIE (a new one on me) are claiming for beating, stabbing and shooting conservatives and law enforcement. The same standard is being instituted by the media elite. Attorney Lisa Bloom, who vehemently excoriated Fox News personalities like Bill O'Reilly, Charles Payne and Eric Bollingfor alleged sexual misbehavior (her term in regard to Weinstein), is bending over backward (pun intended) to protect liberals who are proven deviants. Again, rationalization is the word of the day. None of these perpetrators in the racist AntiFA and elite entertainment industry are responsible for their actions. No, they are given a pass due to 1) justified backlash for supposed mistreatment or 2) they say they won't do it again. Anyone who believes that law enforcement regularly punishes people for their color or that persistent sex offenders can instantly change their spots when the press finally outs them, have literally lost their minds. The bottom line is that as long as the bad actors are promoting anti-conservative, anti-Capitalist, anti-law enforcement, basically anti-anything with a common sense basis, they are 'justified' no matter what they do. In fact, they are rationalizing their despicable and unlawful behavior and the media, for the most part, is right behind them defending the indefensible.
