'Why would you say something that stupid? Why would you ask something that dumb?'

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asks McCain if he's just opposing everything to hurt Trump - McCain goes ballistic

For months, we've been making the case that John McCain will, most likely, oppose everything Donald Trump wants - all in an effort to "stick it" to a President he despises. Most of the time, we trace his rage back to the "heroes who didn't get captured" comment, but if you really dig, you can find some animosity that pre-dates the remark. Regardless, of where it began, most of us have concluded that we're witnessing a political grudge match. McCain never misses an opportunity to trash Trump, and his votes have backed up that anger.
So, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy decided to ask McCain about it. Will McCain be opposing everything that Trump wants, just to stymie the President?
"Why would you say something that stupid? Why would you ask something that dumb? Huh? My job as a United States senator - as a Senator from Arizona that I was just re-elected to - you mean I am somehow going to behave in a way that I’m going to block everything because of some personal disagreement? That’s a dumb question.”
Trust me when I tell you that the transcript really doesn't convey how mad McCain gets here...

John McCain EXPLODES on FOX Reporter For Asking If His Votes Are Protest of Trump

See that anger? That's what you call being "triggered." Doocy hit the mark on an uncomfortable truth and McCain hates that he's being called out. McCain has been playing the personal glory game, and it's starting to catch up to him.
