What provoked this continuing cacophony of distressed Lamb bleating?

Trump’s Win Broke the Silence of the Lambs

Trump’s Win Broke the Silence of the Lambs The election of Donald J. Trump gave a voice to the Lambs. The Sheep Dogs told them not to worry:A Clinton victory is inevitable. The big megaphone of the liberal media told the Lambs: “Trump’s a clown, a misogynist, a racist, a rich, white male. In matters of governing, he knows nothing. Hillary has a lock on it.”
But the Dogs were wrong. And the Lambs were stunned. Not into silence – but into speaking up. Since Trump won, the Sheep Dogs have resisted, obstructed, criticized, ridiculed, and bashed Trump at every opportunity. It’s not all coming from Democrats. Some Republicans have joined in, becoming de facto Democrats. No matter. Their political careers are dog meat. While all this was brewing, something more important was stewing: Others were finding their voices and breaking the Silence of the Lambs. Here’s why. When Trump won, the Lambs began to reflect upon their years of silence. When Bill Clinton waved his skinny finger and said, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman,” they were silent. Suspecting the truth, they were afraid to speak it. They feared the consequences. When Hillary Clinton called critics of Bill’s behavior a “vast right-wing conspiracy,” the Lambs baaaaaaa’d in agreement. A herd reaction, if ever there was one. When the liberal media targeted Ken Starr, the Lambs thought, “Just another conservative zealot who wants to smear Our Beloved President.” And the Lambs nodded in agreement, because that’s what sheep do. They follow. That’s how you stay with the herd.

Throughout the Bush 43 era, the Lambs let the liberal media, Hollywood, and Democrat pols be their voice. When Barack Obama was president, the Lambs swooned, and some even fainted, for Barack was…special. Then came the 2016 Election Day when Lamb World shifted under their hooves. For male, female, and trans-gender Lambs, it was a…Lambshock. In time, it brought aftershocks. First, the big, prominent, powerful, Hollywood German Shepherd Dog, named Harvey, was outed as a harasser of many poor, young Lambs in his herd. One-by-one, they bleated their stories of Harvey’s abuse. That was the first aftershock. Soon, more Harveywood Sheep Dogs were added to the outed list. Some had abused women; others abused children. More of both are yet to come. As Harvey’s exploits unfolded, prominent denizens of Harveywood offered their impressions of Sergeant Schultz saying, “I know nothing! I saw nothing! I heard nothing!” But because they’re professional pretenders, many of us don’t believe them. We think they knew. Next, a Bohemian Shepherd Dog, Frankie, who moved from Saturday Night Live to The Swamp, was outed as an abuser of Lambs. The first accusation came from a Lamb Frankie knew before he became the Court Jester for the United States Senate, back when he was an alleged comedian by trade.

Recently, a much older Bohemian Shepherd Dog, and a longtime resident of The Swamp, was outed as an abuser of Lambs: Congressman John Conyers. There will be more Swamp outings ahead – that is, if Speaker of the House Paul Ryan stops pretending he doesn’t know all the Congressional Dogs who have paid-off the Lambs they harassed in their herd of staffers. We await that list. But we’re not holding our breath. So, first there was Harveywood; then The Swamp. One major herd was yet to hear the Voice of the Lambs. It came when the Liberal Media News Barkers turned on good ole’ Charlie Rose, one of their own, a King Shepherd Dog with the News Barker Herd. Charlie is a winner of many coveted awards and accolades received throughout his long Barker career. His media colleagues immediately defaulted to the Sergeant Schultz routine, as they cast him aside. “We’re shocked, just shocked!” said the Barkers. “We knew nothing!” Other smaller Dogs in the Barker Herd, in print and on television, have also been outed as abusers of women. There are more to come. It must be particularly painful for those tasked to write their colleagues’ professional obituary. But, like Brian Williams, some will return after “rehabilitation.” Bet on it. Question is: Why has all this come about so suddenly?

The offended Lambs speak now because they’re no longer afraid to be silent

Why are the voices of the once-silent and long-abused lambs just now being heard – and in increasing numbers? What provoked this continuing cacophony of distressed Lamb bleating? Here’s an answer. The Sheep Dogs in the entertainment, news, and government herds once told their Lambs: “Don’t doubt the inevitable election of Hillary Clinton as the 45th President of the United States. Trust us. We know these things. She will win, and you’ll be just fine. Move along with the herd now.” And the Lambs believed them, because…that’s what sheep do. They obey the Sheep Dog. But, alas, the Dogs were wrong. And some are turning out to be worse than just wrong. They’re reprobates at least, and felons at worse. The offended Lambs speak now because they’re no longer afraid to be silent. They realize now that the Sheep Dogs have been wrong about a lot of things, including the notion that people are sheep.
