Tim Kaine, who speaks Spanish, demands information on secret Congressional harassment payouts be made public

Tim Kaine Some of you might, just barely, remember the name "Tim Kaine." You may not be able to place it with 100% certainty, but you probably have some sort of vague recollection that a guy named Tim Kaine did something a year or so ago. Allow me to jog your memory. Tim Kaine is a Senator who speaks Spanish - fluently. "So what," you say? Well, if you're a Democrat, that's enough to qualify you for a major political office. Thanks to his astonishing lingual capabilities, it was determined that he would be the Vice-Presidential candidate for one of the worst campaigns in human history.
After Hillary's epic failure, the man formerly known as "Yo soy Tim Kaine" went back to his day job. He's been bouncing around, trying to pretend he wasn't part of a train wreck, and hoping to regain his political prominence ever since. That means he spent the last year doing talking head interviews on MSNBC ...and not much else. Yesterday, though, he did something I can actually get behind. Tim Kaine sent a letter - or "carta" en Español - to Susan Tsui Grundmann, Executive Director of the Congressional Office of Compliance. He's looking for information regarding secret hush-fund payouts to sexual harassment accusers - including the number of claims made against Senators and their staffs, the number of settled claims, and the amounts paid out. As Kaine puts it:
"I plan to publicly disclose this information because I believe it will provide some insight into the scope of the problem and help determine solutions for preventing and addressing future incidents."
...And you know what? He's 100% right. This should happen immediately. I don't care who it burns, and I don't care which party they call home. If they're using taxpayer money to bury proven or admitted behavior, it should be exposed and they should be run out of D.C. on a rail. Political wins and losses be damned. No taxpayer should be soaked so a deviant groper can pretend he still has a good name. Tim Kaine speaks Spanish.
