A sad day in America

I find it fascinating when the President jumps right out in front of some stories and totally refuses to acknowledge others.

This week is a good example. He and Michelle both called NBA basketball player, Jason Collins, to show their support for him coming out as a gay man. But, the President won't say a word about the Dr. Gosnell trial? The Collins story supports the President's position on gay rights while the Gosnell story makes a compelling argument against abortion and against Planned Parenthood, which the President supports. It also gives an insight into his comfort and confidence level. He obviously is very confident in supporting Collins publicly. He is equally opaque with his discomfort in taking a position against Gosnell. It is a sad day in America when our President, who by the way, didn't hesitate to voice a premature opinion in the Trevon Martin story, won't say a few words against abortion much less infanticide.
