Attacker stabs police officer in Flint, MI airport after yelling 'Allahu Akbar'

Flint, Michigan is a city that's seen more than its share of problems. From job loss, to the water crisis, to crime, to poverty, the former automotive center has had a rough thirty years. Now it looks like it will have to add terror attack to its long list of issues. A short time ago, a man stabbed a police officer in Flint's Bishop airport after screaming "Allahu Akbar." The facility was evacuated and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is in stable condition. As a witness told the Flint Journal:
A witness at Bishop Airport says he saw a police officer bleeding from the neck and a knife laying nearby before the terminal was evacuated today. "The cop was on his hands and knees bleeding from his neck," said Ken Brown, who was dropping his daughter off at the airport. "I said they need to get him a towel." Brown said he saw a man detained by police and a knife on the ground at the Flint airport.
According to NBC News, the assailant is Canadian-born and shouted Allahu Akbar prior to the attack:

WDIV Detroit reports that the suspect is in custody and the FBI is heading up the investigation:
The FBI is leading the investigation. The Flint City Hall began operating under heightened security in an abundance of caution after the incident. "Right now we are still awaiting more information about the situation at Bishop Airport this morning," Flint Mayor Karen Weaver said. "My thoughts and prayers are with all of our law enforcement officers who work to service and protect us each and every day. I want the public to know that several agencies are involved and working to ensure the situation is under control. However, at this time we are taking extra precautions just to be safe."
