Sen. John McCain said Thursday he’ll support the GOP tax plan, moving President Trump’s major legislative priority one step closer to passage. The Arizona Republican who famously helped kill ObamaCare repeal legislation and was considered a possible holdout on the tax bill, said he has decided it benefits his constituents and all Americans. “After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to support the Senate tax reform bill,” McCain said in a statement. “I believe this legislation, though far from perfect, would enhance American competitiveness, boost the economy, and provide long overdue tax relief for middle class families.”OK, Senator. Whatever you say. Let's see what happens when we go through a few news cycles and Chuck Schumer has a chance to pull him aside for a little talky-poo. I want to believe.
