NBC's chief foreign correspondent can't name a single country where Obama has improved US relations

Back when Barack Obama was still an unknown Senator campaigning for President, one of his main, stated, goals was to "restore America's standing" in the world. If he was to be believed, his administration would make sure that the rest of the world would like us again. More importantly, they'd respect us. In essence, he claimed he was the fix for our supposedly diminished stature amongst the world community.
So, how's that going? Has he "turned it all around?" Are we loved and admired again? Nope. According to NBC News' chief foreign correspondent, Richard Engel, it's pretty much impossible to name even one country with which our national relationship has improved. Engel appeared yesterday on NBC’s “Squawk Box,” where Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone asked him a very pointed question.

"Name one country with whom we have better a relationship with today than we did when [Barack Obama] became President of the United States almost six years ago. ....I can name all the countries where relationships have gotten worse. I'm asking you to give me one country where they've gotten better."
According to Engel, "You'd be hard pressed to find that." Wow. This is coming from NBC News. His reasons appear below, but suffice it to say that it's become painfully obvious that President Obama has failed in his alleged quest to return the United States to international greatness. Instead, his administration appears to be a fumbling, aimless, confused mess. ...and even the normally slavish folks at NBC are being forced to admit it.
