Obama approval down to 42 percent; let us count the reasons

I've been talking all week about a quote from Thomas Jefferson, who said the good sense of the people will always be found to be the best army. They may be led astray for a moment, but will soon correct themselves.

A new survey shows Obama approval rating is down to an all-time low of 42 percent. Of course, it has a lot to do with the fiasco that is ObamaCare. All those insurance plan cancellations just wreak havoc on your approval rating! But there is a lot more to Obama's failures than just ObamaCare. You can bet it has something to do with the very dismal jobs picture in this country. U.S. private sector employers hired the fewest number of workers in six months in October, while tepid domestic demand kept inflation benign – in other words, still sluggish. And with respect to private sector jobs, it was the lowest reading since April and way below economist expectations. You know how many jobs were created last month? 130,000. In the private sector, there are about 114,410,000 workers. So 130,000 new jobs is 0.1 percent. In other words, that does not move the needle. Not in the least. The economy is not growing. Jobs are not being created. People are having a tough time finding jobs. Maybe that has something to do with the low approval rating. But I know it’s not the president’s fault, because he’s not responsible for anything these days. Looks like a lot more Americans are starting to notice that. And they do not approve.
