Canada's Supreme Court

Supreme Court is not supreme, Parliament is



Unlike the U.S., where the Supreme Court is the third part of the federal government, Canada's Supreme Court is not supreme. It cannot overrule Parliament because Parliament is supreme.

If we abolish the Senate, a restructured Supreme Court, where each candidate would be vetted by a parliamentary committee could take its place. William Bedford
