I am disgusted with the United Nations. They have, in effect, sanctioned the use of chemical weapons.

I am definitely not a fan of Pres. Obama but I agreed with his red line. I am sickened by the sights I see on TV but more so by the lack of any consequences from the rest of the world. We should all be terrified of these developments. What is to stop future use of chemical weapons by anyone and everyone? We should also be concerned about the total lack of support for this President and his policies. The Iraq war was not popular but there were some 34 countries that sent personnel to stand with the United States. With Syria we are unable to get one partner. As a country we are showing the world the chaos within. Partisan politics, lack of leadership, a demoralized citizenry and economic woes all leave us shooting blanks. This attitude leaves me with great concern for my children, my grandchildren and my country. Bill Hamilton
