Last week, Democrats argued that FBI director James Comey was a moral paragon. He was independent, methodical, thorough, and intensely honorable. Republicans who believed Comey was letting Hillary get away with an obvious crime were simply part of the vast right-wing conspiracy - an undignified mob that would spare no effort in their ugly quest to destroy a good woman.
That was last week.
This week is different.
This week Democrats say James Comey is a power-mad monster. He's rigging an election (something we were told couldn't happen) and, as Harry Reid claims, he's a scofflaw who's probably violated the Hatch act. Comey is suddenly a sneaky, conniving, manipulator who's running a witch-hunt that's in desperate need of transparency.
No doubt you have that one irritating liberal friend who won't shut up about Comey's grave abuse of power. Since we like to help where we can, we wanted to make sure you had the ammo needed to shut that argument down.
So here is a parade of the left's best and brightest - including their current VP candidate - all singing the praises of James Comey.
