The FBI found them, and they're not about yoga routines

Well well . . . State Dept. admits 30 of the e-mails Hillary deleted were about Benghazi

Remember Hillary's excuse for why she went ahead and deleted more than 30,000 e-mails from her schlock, homebrew e-mail server? Why, they weren't work-related! They were about yoga routines, recipes and Chelsea's wedding. That's what she said. The FBI, which couldn't bring itself to recommend criminal prosecution because of Hillary's last name and the fact that she's running for president, already told us that many of these were work-related. Now, thanks to the dogged efforts of Judicial Watch in doing the media's job for them, we find out that at least 30 of these e-mails specifically mentioned Benghazi.
The State Department says about 30 emails that may be related to the 2012 attack on U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya, are among the thousands of Hillary Clinton emails recovered during the FBI's recently closed investigation into her use of a private server. Government lawyers told U.S. District Court Judge Amit P. Mehta on Tuesday that an undetermined number of the emails among the 30 were not included in the 55,000 pages previously provided by Clinton. The State Department's lawyer said it would need until the end of September to review the emails and redact potentially classified information before they are released. Mehta questioned why it would take so long to release so few documents and urged that the process be sped up. He ordered the department to report to him in a week with more details about why the review process would take a full month. The hearing was held in one of several lawsuits filed by the conservative group Judicial Watch, which has sued over access to government records involving the Democratic presidential nominee. The State Department has said the FBI provided it with about 14,900 emails purported not to have been among those previously released.

As always happens here, the State Department is claiming it will take quite some time to go through all these and redact classified information, while the judge is having a hard time buying that and wants the process sped up. (Wait. I thought she never sent or received any classified information! So the State Department shouldn't have to go through them at all, right? Unless they don't believe Hillary about that either, which of course they don't.) So what did Hillary say about Benghazi in these e-mails, and who was she talking to? Maybe she was dressing down Sid Blumenthal for giving her such bad advice. Of course, she wasn't supposed to be seeking advice from Sid Blumenthal at all, now was she? Maybe she was talking to someone at the White House about getting their story straight on blaming the YouTube video, since they don't seem to have had their story very straight at all. Maybe she was discussing with political advisors the idea of telling the families of the victims, "The man who made that film will be arrested and prosecuted." We don't know yet, but it appears we'll know soon. What we know now, however, is that this is yet one more thing about which Hillary lied. And if not for Judicial Watch, we would probably not be able to prove it.
