Pertinent questions about sustainable development
Now that globetrotting politicians, UN delegates and NGOs have returned home from the recent, lavish, $53 million Johannesburg Summit on Sustainable Development that achieved zilch, it’s time to ask some pertinent questions:
Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the United Nations' Earth Summit II, has said that air conditioning in homes and businesses is not sustainable. How do you plan to do away with the use of air conditioning in homes and businesses?
Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the United Nations' Earth Summit II, has said that consumption of large amounts of frozen foods and meats is not sustainable. What plans do you have do you have for eliminating frozen foods and meats in order to implement the Sustainable Development project?
Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the United Nations' Earth Summit II, has said that the use of fossil fuel (such as gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, motor oil and anti-freeze) is not sustainable. How do you plan to eliminate the use of petroleum products?
Maurice Strong Secretary General of the United Nations' Earth Summit II, has said that suburban homes are not sustainable. What plans do you have do you have for banning the constitutional right of the people to purchase, build, and maintain suburban housing?
What plans do you have for relocating individuals and families who already own homes in the suburbs?
Do you have any plans to compensate suburban homeowners who will be forced to move to sustainable communities?
One of the goals set by the sustainable development program is to create walkable communities, which allow only human powered transportation and mass transit systems. What is the method and time frame which you propose for banning private automobiles from sustainable communities?
The sustainable development agenda requires strict limitation on urban sprawl, by establishing Urban Development Boundaries. What plans do you have for prohibiting individuals, families, and businesses from purchasing or developing property outside the Urban Development Boundaries?
What are your plans for requiring individuals, families, and businesses to relocate inside the Urban Development Boundaries?
Under the sustainable development agenda, all resources must be regulated and controlled in order to meet the needs of the present generation, as well as all future generations. How do you plan to regulate and control the use of water by individuals, families and businesses?
Do you plan to place water meters on privately owned wells, and tax the use of all water?
Do you plan to ration water like gasoline during WWII?
Since lawnmowers and backyard barbeques require burning gasoline and the use of coal, what plans do you have for eliminating the use of lawnmowers and barbeque grills by individuals, businesses, and governmental agencies?
The Wildlands Project, which is part of the United Nations plan for sustainable development and biodiversity, calls for setting aside 50 percent of the United States for wildlife corridors, What is the time frame for which this will be completed? And, will families now living in those areas be forced to move and relocate in sustainable communities?
The United Nations has stated the private property ownership is incompatible with its plans for sustainable development. What plans do you have for transferring ownership of privately owned lands to the government?
What type of police powers and punishment do you intend to use in order to force the public to comply with all of the sustainable development rules, regulations, and principles?
The United Nations' Agenda 21, and Sustainable America: A New Consensus, both require high rise and high density dwellings, as a part of the sustainable community program. What is the maximum number of square feet which a family will be permitted to occupy as a dwelling, and how many stories high will the apartment be built?
Sustainability is largely dependent upon population control in order to succeed. Do you plan to pass laws that will limit the number of children each family can have, as has been done in China? --Citizens for a Better Government>
