Dear abu Musab al-Zarqawi:
Just a note to express our gratitude for reminding all of us in the civilized world that you Islamofascist terrorists need to be rooted out from under your rocks and exterminated like the cockroaches you are. Your murder and beheading of poor Nick Berg achieved this to a large degree.
You may recall that the Western Media had gotten its panties wedged over the so-called Iraqi prison scandals. There had been nearly a fortnight of gnashing and wailing about how the evil american military was no better than Saddam Hussein, because they shouted at Iraqi prisoners and called them names, among other things. Why every night, the big 4 Networks showed the same pictures over and over in an effort to prove just how bad we are.
Your Nick Berg video brought those of us with a brain back to earth and reminded us what this war is really about. I must admit, I haven’t seen the video itself, I just read the reviews, but then I also haven’t watched the Prison Scandal videos either. The gist of it is that you and your fellow terrorists sawed through Nick Berg’s throat and severed his head, all while he was screaming in terror and your pals were chanting "God is great". Boy, that’s some religion you have there. Do you also sacrifice live animals the way they used to in the Old Testament?
anyway, you managed to bring some perspective into this very slanted picture and have helped us to regain sight of our goals. Knowing that there are thousands out there just like you, savage, uncivilized, unfeeling, uncaring murderers, who would sooner cut off one’s head than take a second look, has injected some new resolve into the grass roots of america. In short, you have pissed some people off and they are coming to get you and your buddies, no matter how long it takes.
I have long felt that your terrorist acts are too few and far between for the West to keep their eye on the ball because after all, our collective attention span is equal to that of a gnat. Now if only you were to engage in some of your shenanigans on a weekly basis, it would enable us to stay focused on the task at hand, namely the eradication of Islamic terrorists from the world. Maybe you could do a few more bombings, just to get us motivated. Some good targets might be CBS or aBC television, which despite the fact that they seem to be sympathetic to you, are nevertheless run by infidels and their whores of Babylon. You guys really showed that american Jew, Daniel Pearl, that it doesn’t matter if infidels are sympathetic to you. Sympathy? You don’t need their stinkin’ sympathy.
Is it really true that you "executed" Nick Berg as a reprisal for all the atrocities that the americans visited on Iraqi detainees? What’s more, do you believe that taking the innocent life of a civilian whose mission was to help rebuild Iraq was a good quid pro quo for having these detainees insulted by americans? Does it matter that many of these detainees were themselves officials of Saddam’s regime and themselves had arab blood on their hands? Just asking!
as an infidel myself, you should understand that I am sensitive to the wanton and random slaughter of people just because they are infidels. I mean, today you don’t see Jews or Christians going around killing people just because they’re not Jews or Christians. Certainly I’ve never heard of a Buddhist slaying someone because they don’t believe in Buddha. Yes, I know some 500 years ago Christians killed Muslims, Jews, even each other because of religious differences. But they’ve grown beyond that. Do you think you’ll ever get over "the tragedy of andalusia"?
I think the West is beginning to understand that what you want, we can’t give you, because what that is our total annihilation. There are still some sob-sisters and a few Nancy boys who believe that if we just gave you what you wanted, if we negotiated with you for a peaceful solution to our mutual differences, you might stop killing us. But we both know that isn’t going to happen. Your goal is the complete eradication of anyone and anything that isn’t Muslim. Your buddies, the Taliban was very clear in this when they blew up 1,000-year-old statues of Buddha and made Hindus wear yellow stars on their clothing to identify them as non-Muslim. Even your laws of Sharia are clear on your goals. If you murder a Muslim, then you get the death penalty. If you murder an infidel, you walk.
and so it is that we owe you a debt of gratitude for the unconscionable outrage you committed against Nick Berg. You have helped bring our debate back into the realm of reality. Instead of yammering about the inconveniences that the war on terrorists is imposing on us and instead of second-guessing our motives as to why we are at war with you, we can now look for those answers in what happened to Nick Berg.
