North Korea, Christianity

The self-proclaimed Christ in North Korea

`Jesus Christ' has resurfaced in North Korea. That's if you believe in the god-like authority of the North Korean government and the fabricated fables of one Kim Jong Il.

In his own mind, Kim Jong Il is Jesus Christ. Not believing in, let alone going along with the sanctity of Kim Jong Il can get you tossed under a steamroller and crushed into eternal silence.

Since the end of World War 11, the masses in North Korea have been forced to bow to deities, North Korea's founder Kim Il Sung and his son and successor, Kim Jong Il.

Borrowing from the Bible, the Kim Jong Il deity cult has come up with its own gospel accounts of North Korean sailors saved at sea during terrifying storms--all by just gathering on open decks to sing the praises of Kim Il Sung.

Incredibly, stories of saved-at-sea North Korean sailors have been passed off as "news" in North Korean newspapers.

While other world leaders were born in mansions, palaces or hospitals, Kim Jong Il's birth took place on Mount Paektu, a sacred mountain on the border with China. So momentous was this royal birth, that a double rainbow appeared in the sky, along with a single bright star,

If this sounds hauntingly familiar to another famous story you've heard, it's only your imagination, because the birth of Kim Jong Il is part of his country's "official history".

One of the most marked differences between the North Korean Demi-God and the real thing is that while Jesus Christ carried his own crucifix, Kim Jong Il is putting his on the backs of any who dare to follow their own religious beliefs.

In North Korea, any manifestation of your illegal belief in the Christian God will get you killed before a crowd of unwitting eyewitnesses.

In Roman times, eyewitnesses watched with delight as Christians were torn apart by lions. In modern day North Korea, five Christian church leaders were executed by being mowed down by a steamroller in front of a crowd of spectators,

One eyewitness told an independent U.S. government commission that none of the five leaders said a word, but "some of the fellow parishioners (watching the execution) cried, screamed out or fainted when the skulls made a popping sound as they were crushed beneath the steamroller."

a young woman who dropped a Bible hidden in her laundry was executed along with her father in a marketplace in front of a crowd of schoolchildren and their teachers,

Like its anti-Christian neighbour China, North Korea shows another face to the outside world, Three "official" churches in North Korea's capital, Pyongyang are kept for the convenience of window-dressing. Visited by foreigners and the elderly, they are a mirage meant to mask the atrocities of Kim Jong Il's reign of terror.

Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church,

With madman Kim Jong Il crushing skulls in North Korea, International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church should be in the prayers of Christians each and every day.
