Cindy Who?

as much as I hate to say it, I told you so… Now that the socialist anti-Bush hate-america first whores of organizations like MoveOn.org are through pimping Cindy Sheehan for the press, (to promote their own ill-conceived agenda), the little ole lady from Pasadena (or somewhere on the left coast), is not even yesterday’s news.

Frankly, Cindy Sheehan has spent a lifetime at odds with her country. In the end, even she tried to capitalize politically on the otherwise honorable death of her son. The Political action Committee’s who funded her so-called “anti-war protest” turned international Bush-bashing contest, milked her very real tragedy for all it was worth, then tossed her aside and headed back to the campaign office in search of the next tragedy to exploit.

I wish I could feel sorry for her, but I just can’t. Originally, I did… But then her america-hating Bush-bashing bloomers began to show from beneath her shroud of personal grief, cloaked in 60s styled anti-war rhetoric.

already people are asking “Cindy who?” The press did all they could to make her a household name, a poster-child of their own selfish agenda of course, not hers. Now that the opportunity seems to have passed, or maybe even backfired on the basis of exposed false motives, Cindy is just another worn out shoe no longer of any use to her leftists friends.

The crime isn’t that Cindy had an opinion, or even that some who shared that opinion provided her with fifteen minutes of fame.

The crime is that in doing so, all involved dishonored her son, who chose to serve his country not once, but twice. He volunteered not only for military service, but for the mission in Iraq. He died not in vain as his mother suggests, but rather with honor and dignity, a hero, not a martyr.

The bravery of one Casey Sheehan was the story. Not the bitter socialist anti-american agenda of his mother. The press missed it… Did you?
