OPEN LETTER TO CITIZENS OF CALEDONIA & CANADA

I want to thank all Canadians and the citizens of Caledonia for helping make our ongoing blockade and occupation a huge success for me and my people.
I know I don't speak for all of my clan, but here is my take on a few things.
It is times like these that make me really appreciate living in Canada. After all I know full well that if I pulled these kinds of stunts in the USA or almost any other developed country I'd probably be writing this letter from a jail cell.
But not in Canada - lucky for me and my friends on the barricade.
I know that in our post-Ipperwash / post-Oka times I can do almost anything and get away with it.
Your federal and provincial politicians can't do anything to stop us. You may call them cowardly for not acting to protect white peoples property and civil rights, but the plain truth is they are simply too scared to act. It is good for me that they don't have more courage.
And the Police commanders are no different. The rank and file officers proved they have the courage and skills needed to stop us - they showed that when they intervened and removed us earlier from the development site.
It is just fortunate for us that the senior police commanders are also scared. They don't care if your rights are being trampled by us blockaders. We believe the police are really present to protect those of us occupying Douglas Estates from you whites. Did you notice the police line preventing your angry post-rally march from approaching us on the barricade lines?
Now to the main issue here — the land, our rights, our claims.
My opinion is that we have held this land forever and you whites don't have any valid claim to it. Please do not mention that you have an agreement signed by my forefather chiefs and your white government where my forefathers asked you to sell the land because there was too much of it for us to look after. I know you did this at our request, but I don't like to talk about this topic because it might cast doubt on the authenticity of our claim to the land. Frankly I never let the facts get in the way of a good land claim.
And please don't mention this to the media [they haven't yet given this aspect of the issue much air time] because they might actually find out that my claims are not as genuine as I want them to appear. Anyway — enough of this — talking about the validity of my claims makes me uncomfortable.
Frankly, I don't care if my people legally sold Douglas Estates land years ago. I want it back, and I want it now. And apparently no one has the courage to stop me.
It doesn't matter to me that Canada has its own system of laws in place to deal with legal disputes such as this one. I don't care much about your white laws because as you can all see — I don't have to obey them.
Once again I say lucky for me to live in Canada since your white politicians and your police are confirming every day in Caledonia that Canada has two sets of laws — one set that applies to you whites and another that applies to us. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude for making all of this possible for me and my clan.
We can destroy public property whenever we want like to — as when we burned the Stirling St. Bridge — we threatened the volunteer firemen at gunpoint with death if they didn't let the bridge burn when they responded to the emergency. The police were very considerate to us blockaders and they stayed far away from this activity leaving us free to intimidate your firefighters all we wanted. We made them go away. I'm glad your police are not upholding your white laws.
I know that many of you feel that we are seriously damaging the local economy by preventing normal traffic — car, truck and rail. I just don't care about the bad effects my actions are having on you.
And please stop complaining about the times I ride my ATV through your residential streets wearing my mask, camo fatigues and gas mask and flying my Mohawk Warrior flag while yelling obscenities at your families. Some of you are calling this Terrorism and that I am trying to scare you.
If your children and wives are fearful of me when I do this, just tell them to suck it up and be quiet. Honestly, I just think they are simply too sensitive.
Also, don't believe a word of the stories that me and my friends were sneaking over the back fences of some of your lawns at night to use their yards as toilettes. That's just crap. Or maybe that was before we had port-a-potties brought in. I'm not sure.
And again, I want to thank the police and politicians for allowing me free rein to do this. I know they are right there observing every move I make [their unmarked vans are on every street] and not raising a finger to stop me. Once again I thank your police for not stopping me from harassing you whites in this way.
You getting the picture ? Your white laws meaning nothing to me.
Except for one white law, that is. That is the law that keeps the $ 4 billion per year of your taxes flowing to our Band Councils. We want that money to keep flowing forever, so we do not want that law changed of course.
Me and my clan just don't have to do it that way. You whites pay for our health care, pay to educate our children, pay for our governments to run. That's the way I like it.
Once again, thank you to all you for letting me live in your Canada and letting me do just about anything I want to. [and please keep paying your taxes so I get my money]
