Gorbachev, Cold War lullabies

Nightmare Nuclear assassin world a reality

Mikhail Gorbachev and his gaggle of corporate supporters notwithstanding, the cold war, never far away, is back front row center on the global stage.

The death of alexander Litvinenko brought it all back last week on a frigid gust of Siberian wind.

The Gorbachev Foundation USa, set up by San Francisco-based Wisdom University Chairman Dr. James Garrison, has been lulling Western nations to sleep about a new and gentle Mother Russia.

But in spite of their nursery rhymes recitals, the Cold War has come back with a vengeance and Global Warming won't do anything to melt its hoar frost heart.

Polonium-210, the substance that killed former spy alexander Litvinenko is suspected of having come from Russia's black market trade in radioactive materials.

Indeed, as the Polish-based journalist David Dastych wrote for this publication on Saturday, Litvinenko's death may have ushered in a new era of terrorism: The Debut of the Nuclear assassins.

american funded organizations such as The Gorbachev Foundation and Gorby's Green Cross International have been playing down Russia's role as a nuclear threat in San Francisco and Boston, satellite cities to Moscow, headquarters, where Gorbachev maintains offices to the present day. Circumstances forcing the attention of the free world to the Islamofascist threat also make it easy to forget Russia.

Lest we forget:"Of special relevance is the fact that the shell of the Gorbachev Foundation, out of which sprang the World State Forum, was founded on april 10, 1991--over four months prior to the KGB's controlled"august Coup". (www.freerepublic.com). "at that time, only Soviet intelligence and in-the-know Party Strategists would have been aware of the course to be taken by"collapsible Communism."

"The founding documents of the Tamalpais Institute, established as a"Not-for-Profit" entity of the State of California on 10th april; 1991, were signed by Dr. Jim Garrison and one amy Vossbrinck. Dr. Garrison had a long prehistory of visits to the Soviet Union in the years when free-and-easy access there was impossible other than to favoured operatives. On 10th april 1992, the Tamalpais Institute filed revised documents changing its name to Gorbachev Foundation/USa. We need to know why this entity, operating relentlessly on behalf of the Soviet Party-intelligence structures to expand a flabby constituency campaigning for"global governance" and to"definitively impose" a dead"New age" mentality on the international community has a Virginia-based publicist."

In the aftermath of the alexander Litvinenko affair, Gobachev, convalescing from an operation in a German hospital, has been indisposed.

In a 1983 book, The Russian Threat, Its Myths and Realities, which Garrison co-authored with Pyrae Shivpuri, the Gorbachev Foundation president wrote about the polonium culture.

…"For over forty years our society was told the reasons we needed nuclear weapons was because we had to protect ourselves against our deadly adversary in the USSR. Now that adversary is a thing of the past. after WWII, MIT mathematician Norbert Wiener wrote about the Manichaean Devil in the following terms:"The Manichaean devil is an opponent, like any other opponent, who is determined on victory and will use any trick of craftiness or dissimulation to obtain this victory. In particular, he will keep his policy of confusion secret, and if we show any signs of beginning to discover his policy, he will change it in order to keep us in the dark." He was writing about the Soviets. But that threat is no longer credible. Why do we continue to allow ourselves to be propagandized by the (sic) those who would have us"still" believe in the Manichaean Devil--an opponent who no longer even exists? Who's (sic) interests are served by believing there are enemies"out there" who are worth polluting the biosphere with fundamentally deadly radioactive matter, that will annihilate all life on earth for hundreds of millennia to come?"

Given what happened in Britain last week, pages 231-236 in Garrison's book seems to give Garrison the physic powers of a Rasputin.

Who could know back then that loose nukes, plutonium and polonium-210 as radio- isotopes would be part of real life instead of the stuff of Hollywood movies?

"Each operating nuclear reactor produces between 400 to 600 pounds of plutonium waste each year. Less than one millionth of a gram, if ingested, can cause cancer and/or genetic mutation," Garrison wrote. Twenty pounds, if properly fashioned, can be made into a nuclear bomb, Because of this,"the different aspects of the plutonium economy must be as tightly guarded as nuclear weapons themselves."

…"The potential problem with the plutonium economy and its relation to human freedom has been succinctly expressed by a statement made by Dr. Bernard Field, Chairperson of the atomic and High Energy Physics Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology:

"Let me tell you about a nightmare I have. The Mayor of Boston sends for me for an urgent consultation. He has received a note from a terrorist group telling him that they have planted a nuclear bomb somewhere in central Boston. The Mayor has confirmed that 20 pounds of plutonium is missing from Government stocks. He shows me the crude diagram and a set of the terrorists' outrageous demands. I know--as one of those who participated in the assembly of the first atomic bomb--that the device would work. Not efficiently, but nevertheless with devastating effect. What should I do? Surrender to blackmail or risk destroying my home town?"

"What needs to be remembered in assessing this state of affairs is that plutonium, if it is to be used, must be protected by police state methods. We just cannot have something that can be used for nuclear bombs and can damage and mutate human life with the lethalness of millions of cancer doses per pound floating about in a free society. a plutonium economy and a free democracy are a contradiction in terms."

In an era where we are seeing the debut of nuclear assassins when we already have the suicide bomber, organizations such as the Gorbachev Foundation/USa are merely humming the lullabies to ease democracies back to sleep.

Gorbachev, Garrison, Maurice Strong and company, who keep presenting papers to World State Events, are not going to change anything.

as David Dastych wrote on the weekend, "The case of alexander Litvinenko is probably not the first of its kind."

By Monday he was writing,"I have just received information from Switzerland that two Swiss intelligence operatives engaged in the illegal nuclear trade with Russian and South africa, were killed by means of radio-isotopes. The name of one of them was Juerg Jacomet."

With generous american funding, Gorbachev has spent a career lecturing the world--through an interpreter-- that the Cold War is over, that the boogeyman went over the horizon and is no more.

He couldn't possibly have been more wrong.

New Mexico firm United Nuclear Scientific Equipment & Supplies offers a sample of radioactive element on its website, as part of its aim of putting the "fun back into science".
