Dem Memo On “Best Practices” For “Black Lives”

AUGUST 31—In a confidential memo to fellow staffers, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s diversity director last year outlined “best practices” when dealing with the “radical” Black Lives Matter movement, including the avoidance of phrases like “all lives matter” and “black on black crime,” which “anger BLM activists” and are “viewed as red herring attacks.”

The November 2015 memo, authored by Troy Perry, notes that the document “should not be emailed or handed to anyone outside of the building. Please only give campaign staff these best practices in meetings or over the phone.”—More..

Neither Key nor National Anthem are racist

Back when the TV channels would sign off at midnight or later, they would always play the National Anthem, followed by a test pattern. While I remember it mostly being an instrumental version played by a marching band or an orchestra, a two-verse version with a woman singing it accompanied by an acoustic guitar was also popular.

As I came to find out, she was singing verse 4 in addition to the familiar first verse. In the ensuing years, I would occasionally find it in music books, but with only three of the four verses, verse 1, 2, and 4. It took San Francisco 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick sitting during the pre-game playing of the National Anthem on August 26 for me to be reminded of verse 3.

Joseph Paxton’s 3 August 186th birthday falls on 3 August 2016. If you’ve eaten a banana or walked in, perhaps even owned a greenhouse you have him to thank. “The busiest man in England” was to Queen Victoria “a common gardener’s boy”—but knighted him anyway in 1851 for designing the Great Exhibition’s famed Crystal Place featuring Paxton’s modular glass-and-iron design. Yet he was born 1803 the seventh son of a yeoman farmer in Bedfordshire and an apprentice gardener to his older brother. Noticed by the William Cavendish 6th Duke of Devonshire and brought to his Chatsworth Estate, he raised the banana plants named after his patron that were to become the standard commercial banana of the 20th century. He progressed to be a botanist, publisher, architect and Member of Parliament before his death in 1865. Not bad for a gardener’s boy.

New England in Need of More Natural Gas Pipeline Capacity

Many New Englanders would like to convert their home heating systems to natural gas, but are not allowed because there is insufficient pipeline capacity to get the natural gas to their homes. Not only does the residential market want natural gas for home heating but so do the industrial and electric utility markets. Low cost natural gas is in demand and has been replacing coal and nuclear power in electricity markets in New England, which is now over 50 percent dependent on natural gas. But despite the demand, natural gas pipelines are having a tough time getting built in New England. Recently, the Supreme Judicial Court in Massachusetts ruled against energy companies having electricity consumers pay for the costs of new natural gas pipelines.1

United We Stand, Divided We Fall!

That phrase has been attributed to that fabled Greek story teller, Aesop, and by a passage in the bible (Mark 3:25) which stated, “And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand”.  As a Republican, I think that phrase has enormous meaning, especially in the upcoming presidential election.  Quite few disgruntled Republicans, have stated that because of differences between themselves and the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, they will not vote for him or endorse him for president.  The Democrats, on the other hand, join together no matter what their differences are and prepare to win the next election.  The Republicans, some not all, seem to carry their differences to the extreme and do just the opposite out of principle.

I believe that our country is basically a center-right country, but we Republicans consistently lose elections to center-left candidates representing the Democrats.  It seems to be that we are always grabbing defeat out of the jaws of victory.  Are we that stupid?  The answer is probably YES!

Yes, the targeting of Target is working BUT…

The boycott of Target stores led by those outraged that the retail chain encourages men who “identify” as women to use women’s restrooms is working—but victory is not yet complete.

Business Insider reports:

The boycott started in April after Target announced that it would welcome transgender customers to use any bathroom or fitting room that matched their gender identity.

Illegal Alien Driver Massacre in Louisiana

Kristen Welker informed viewers of the NBC Nightly News that an “undocumented worker” was at fault in a terrible bus crash in Louisiana on August 28 that killed two people and injured 41 others. It is typical of the media to use that phrase when referring to illegal aliens. It is how the media try to condition people to accept their presence in the United States. After all, if these people are “workers,” they can’t be such terrible people. On the other hand, the word “alien” implies something foreign to the United States.

The Breitbart website, under fire from the liberal media and Hillary Clinton, was accurate, noting that “illegal alien” Denis Yasmir Amaya Rodriguez drove the private rental bus that crashed into a fire truck, two other vehicles and three firefighters.

Obama is calling for Muslims to go to the head of the line

In a blatant show of partiality, our President has issued a call to action to U.S. firms to make ” “new, measurable and significant commitments that will have a long-term impact on Muslim refugees”. He isn’t even trying to hide his Muslim leaning. He is calling for Muslims to go to the head of the line.

I’d like to ask him, what about our black citizens who are experiencing (officially) a 10.5 percent unemployment and for young blacks where the rate is much higher. These are our people, our neighbors, our communities, we owe it to them first. What a shame that our President is once more calling for an action that will cause more division.

Compassion and caring are hallmarks of this country but they should never, ever come at the expense of our citizens or our security.

Homeland eyes special declaration to take charge of elections

Even before the FBI identified new cyber attacks on two separate state election boards, the Department of Homeland Security began considering declaring the election a “critical infrastructure,” giving it the same control over security it has over Wall Street and and the electric power grid.

The latest admissions of attacks could speed up that effort possibly including the upcoming presidential election, according to officials.—More…

A Candidate’s Death Could Delay or Eliminate the Presidential Election

The presidential election could be delayed or scrapped altogether if conspiracy theories become predictive and a candidate dies or drops out before Nov. 8. The perhaps equally startling alternative, if there’s enough time: Small groups of people hand-picking a replacement pursuant to obscure party rules.

The scenarios have been seriously considered by few outside of the legal community and likely are too morbid for polite discussion in politically mixed company. But prominent law professors have pondered the effects and possible ways to address a late-date vacancy.—More…

IRS doesn’t tell 1 million taxpayers that illegals stole their Social Security numbers

The IRS has discovered more than 1 million Americans whose Social Security numbers were stolen by illegal immigrants, but officials never bothered to tell the taxpayers themselves, the agency’s inspector general said in a withering new report released Tuesday.

Investigators first alerted the IRS to the problem five years ago, but it’s still not fixed, the inspector general said, and a pilot program meant to test a solution was canceled, and fell woefully short anyway.—More…

Losing the Internet one month before election

We should take seriously all the bombs Barack Hussein Obama plans to toss in our path on his way out of the door. Most know that his coming departure is only a temporary one, given that Hillary Clinton is poised to be Obama’s third term in office.

Next big bombshell coming down the pike at America:  At midnight September 30, Obama will cut off the access of millions to the Internet by abdicating Internet stewardship over to the control of the United Nations.

In other words, Obama will turn the Internet over to the only world body that is more corrupt than Obama and the Clinton Foundation, and the one with octopus arms already choking the life out of Western society.

Listen as Jesse Jackson destroys the ‘Trump’s a racist’ narrative

According to Hillary and her surrogates, Trump is a horrible racist.  He’s a bigot, he hates pretty much everybody and, if he wasn’t running for President, he’d probably be riding around the deep south wearing a sheet.  He’s just that awful.

Of course, no one ever said any of this during the last 40 years - over the course of which Trump was a very public figure. It’s amazing that someone could be so famous, and yet no one, anywhere, ever mentioned his rampant bigotry. Like so many others, Trump’s supposed racism only came to light once he threated to derail the coronation political careers of Hillary and Bill Clinton.  Funny how that always seems to happen.

Oh look, MSNBC just noticed that Hillary’s hiding from the press

Hillary has a problem telling the truth. It’s just not something she does. There are a lot of reasons for this, but one of the biggest is that her whole career is predicated on 30 years of lying. Her life story is essentially one gigantic, tangled, web of falsehoods, half-truths, spin, and obfuscation.

The thing is, when you’ve lived that way for so long, you can’t just stop.  In order to push forward, you have to keep lying, and every new answer has to square with the previous set of fabrications. That’s a lot to keep straight, so it becomes much easier to simply avoid questions altogether.

...And that’s what Hillary’s been doing.

Colin Kaepernick, the quarterback of the 49ers, refused to stand up with his teammates for “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

He is divisive like Obama.  Both are half-white, half-black.  Is there something about mixed breeds that they hate themselves and encourage division?

Kaepernick, not originally and stupidly, said, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color.”

White House announces massive changes in bid to head off ObamaCare disaster

ObamaCare is a huge and glorious success, and it’s the shining jewel in Barack Obama’s legacy. That’s what the Democrats have been telling us for several years, and for the most part the media have dutifully parrotted this talking point. But in recent months, it’s gotten harder for Obama’s media protectors to keep pretending everything is OK. Exchanges are in dire fiscal straits. Insurers are dropping out. Premiums are soaring. Provider networks are narrowing.

The left keep reaching back for what it thinks is the one saving grace of ObamaCare - that more people are “covered” than before. And that’s true, but the vast majority of these are just sopping off Medicaid, which is exploding both state and federal budgets, while just about everyone is spending more for the glorious privilege of being “covered,” not to mention paying higher taxes to pay for all the subsidies ObamaCare promises.

Obama Solves America’s Terrorist Shortage
