Playing with fire: repubs brandishing liberal torch

Playing with fire: repubs brandishing liberal torchHaving lived and worked in both Cathy McMorris Rogers and Greg Walden’s districts, I’ve seen the infiltration of liberals settling in their rural, and historically conservative, regions. The result of the migration of leftists into right country makes it apparent that these two (and other republicans facing liberal incursion) will cross the line if the President can be expected to take the heat and cover for their transgression. The 13 republicans who voted to disapprove the president’s invoking a national emergency due to the porous southern border allowing drugs, human traffickers and vicious criminals to saunter across, is nothing more than a political two-step (is there a pun in that?). Relying on the excuse that only Congress can designate funds, Rep. McMorris Rogers and the others decided to overrule their own branch that had legislated power to the president in the event of a national emergency, which would include allocating funds for the solution. (Note: the final text of the law is not available in digital form.)
Despite the republicans lauding the need for the border wall, in whatever form it may take, it appears they elected to undermine the lawful action of the president in order to keep the growing number of liberals infecting their home district happy – or so they think. There can be no other rationale for turning their backs on the dire situation at the border because Congress has already proven its inability to address the situation. The action taken by President Trump was a result of Congress not doing its job and these republican House members have the gall to blame the problem on him and disapprove the declaration? Sorry, but culpability lies squarely with Congress. The president has responded in this strong fashion in order to fulfill his foremost duty to protect this nation from an invading force when Congress clearly would not. Seeing the safety valve of knowing that the president will veto the resolution (duh), it looks like these republicans chose to dance with the opposition hoping to cull favor among their new leftist constituents. They should know by now that you can’t sway embittered democrat-socialists to accept any republican. They will burn down the RINO house, both Capitol and personal property, no matter how they’re coddled. Be apprised, Washington, a resolution disapproving your inaction has been passed by the majority of the American “We the People” (as McMorris Rogers referred to citizens), and it is against Congress as a whole and those who defy our national security, in particular. They that forsake the law praise the wicked:
but such as keep the law contend with them. Proverbs 28:4
