Absurdity of acknowledging "female" gender based on one's feelings

Your Daughter/Granddaughter Will Never Win The First-Place Trophy

Women and Children FirstWhen speaking with my daughter, an avid cyclist, about her upcoming racing season, I asked about "transgender women" competitors (biological males who gender-identify as females). It seemed obvious that such a competitor's male physiology would render the best efforts put forth by my daughter null and void. My daughter explained that excluding transwomen competitors was improper and discriminatory under the governing USA Cycling rules. How could inclusion in competitive sports be based solely on one's gender beliefs/feelings, at the expense of objective, competitive fairness; why is inclusion based on a man feeling like a female, good; but by "his" indisputable biological sex, bad? Whether due to intellectual confusion, or intellectual dishonesty, grouping athletes by "gender" instead of by biological sex ignores the paradoxical twin-traits of transgender individuals.
The Progressive Left, driven by its identity political agenda unequivocally demands that for all societal activities, "female" gender identity is paramount and subsumes the transgender woman's objectively expressed, biological male, sex characteristics. In stark contrast, the overwhelming majority of society looks at the "transgender woman" and intuitively classifies that person as a biological/physiological male, possessing male testosterone levels, muscular density, skeletal anatomy, and lung/heart capacity, etc. Based on the objective reality of biological sex, and not emotions, the unbiased and equitable evaluation for inclusion of transgender persons in societal activities must be determined simply/candidly; does the professed gender identity belief, or the biological sex of such a person, appropriately apply to that activity? Participation in sports competitions provides a bright-line example of how to dispassionately determine the inclusion of a transgender athlete. A transgender "woman" is irrefutably a biological male, with inborn physical abilities superior to those of a biological female. Accordingly, such a transgender person is a physiological male and should only compete alongside other biological males, and never with biological females. In short, psychological gender mindset identity ends at the starting blocks! There is incontrovertible proof that non-trans female athletes, who are the best of the best in their chosen sport, are physically incapable of successfully competing against deceptively tagged transgender "women;" which trans individuals possess the innate, physiological superiority of a biological male; example: Transgender Girls Win State Track Championships (date accessed, May 13, 2019).

Women and Children First

If a consensus is not soon reached in American sports to exclude biological males from competing against female athletes, our daughters', granddaughters', and nieces' bedrooms will never display first-place trophies. Worse, why should these young females even try to compete? The insidious and intellectually disingenuous identity-politics of the Progressive Left, that a biological male can believe himself to be "female" when competing in sports competitions must be soundly and incontrovertibly rejected. Also, The Equality Act working its way through the House, which will codify these transgender beliefs/feelings as enforceable "rights" must be defeated. To expose the absurdity of acknowledging "female" gender based on one's feelings, I pose the following dilemma to the trans community and their progressive allies to resolve with any clarity: A small cruise ship is 300 miles in the North Atlantic, mid-April, due east of Massachusetts. One hundred and fifty passengers are on board for a transgender conference: 50 transwomen. 50 transmen, and 50 non-trans females, Tragically, the cruise ship strikes a small but deadly iceberg and begins to sink. Equally tragic, there are lifeboats for only 50 passengers. The grizzled captain gets all passengers on deck, and following the sacred rules of the sea bellows, "we only have room for 50 passengers in the lifeboats, with women first" (then wisely returns to the helm to go down with the ship). Which 50 of the 150 assembled passengers should be granted safety and given seats in the lifeboats? Who gets saved? whose life rests in mortal peril?
