Both of these events point to how America's political establishment and law enforcement agencies not only failed to perform their specific duties but appear to have acted way outside the bounds of the law to overthrow a sitting President of The United States. How could something so criminal, so ethically repugnant happen in a system based on the rule of law with checks and balances?
Democrats dismantling America from within
The simple answer we often hear is that the Left hated Donald Trump so much they did everything they could to remove him from office. But that answer doesn't hold up and on its face makes absolutely no sense. To begin with, Democrat-controlled liberal New York had a love affair with "The Donald" for decades and as far as being morally outraged by Trump's behavior with women, let's not forget how the Left idolizes Bill Clinton who had sexual relations with an intern and was accused of rape by several women. Or the case of Keith Ellison, a former U.S. House member and former deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee who was accused of assaulting two ex-girlfriends but saw an outpouring of leftist support. So moving away from the red herring of moral outrage, we come to the actual reason the Left despises the President. Trump embodies everything the Washington establishment has always feared; an outsider with the legitimate authority and power to expose the crooked system from the inside. All roads of unrest lead back to Obama and what he orchestrated for eight years as President. The resurfacing of the belief in a systemic racist country, the battle against anything white and wealthy and the guilt felt by young adults for being an American emanated directly from the seeds planted by Obama.
From the very beginning, those on the far Left understood that the only way to dismantle America was from within and one way to accomplish that was by hijacking a well established political party entrenched in Washington. They would also need the full cooperation of America's communication community, also known as the media or the Fourth Estate.
Both of those requirements were fulfilled when they found willing participants in the form of the Democrat party and the mainstream media; both of whom immediately backed an unknown radical socialist ostensibly from Hawaii named Barack Obama.
And so there was the promise made in 2008 by then Presidental candidate Obama of "hope and change." Many Americans counted on this promise to improve their lives but what they never considered, was that the promise wasn't meant for them and the clear proof of that is in the easily obtainable results.
When Obama first took the oath of office on January 20, 2009, he ushered in a time that witnessed the most divisive anti-American policies the nation had ever seen. If instead of being the President of the United States, Obama was a foreign agent his actions would have landed him in Guantanamo Bay or Federal prison, but since he was the messiah of the Democratic party as well as the sweetheart of the propaganda media, he was encouraged and celebrated as he pursued his incredibly damaging agenda.
Obama's contempt for America was equaled only by his hatred for the United States Constitution as his administration was checked by unanimous Supreme Court decisions more than any other administration in history.
He had an obsession against the 2nd Amendment and was at the helm during the deadly anti-2nd Amendment gun-walking program, "Fast and Furious." And who can forget, "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor" that is until you couldn't, which guided the most ambitious deceptive method in U.S. history aimed at redistributing the nation's wealth all while disguised as an affordable healthcare program. How can a statement like that be right? Let's briefly look at how Obama acted at the rollout of Obamacare.

How did he oversee and prepare for the grand opening of his supposed Presidental legacy? Did he make sure he was kept informed on all progress, and updated on the development of the exchange software? In fact, he acted like he never saw a single progress report and only vaguely knew of United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius who had to resign because of the failed ACA rollout. Is that how one treats the single most important achievement in one's career? Of course not. In reality, Obamacare didn't hold his attention because it was just a stepping stone to a single-payer system, plus he still had an entire nation to ruin.
After eight years of dismantling American values by any means necessary, Hillary Clinton was the one with enough dirt and baggage that could be counted on to keep Obama's dark activities secret. Also, she was far more concerned with power and greed than with far left ideology but nonetheless could be counted on by the radical Left to allow the final nail to be placed in the coffin of American freedoms. With blinders on and living in the beltway bubble, the leftist propaganda, media couldn't have been more wrong in their prediction of a Clinton landslide, and so not surprisingly, Trump shockingly became the 45th President.
President Trump landed on the precarious streets of Washington D.C. with promises of liberating the forgotten people of America from the oppression of leftist occupation. As far as the leftist propaganda media was concerned, the most unforgivable trait Trump possessed aside from his pro-America beliefs was his autonomy away from K Street as well as the soulless underground of Washington.

The tattered remnants of the Leftist anti-American community may have been beaten at the ballot box, but they were far from relinquishing power back to a despised moralistic, patriotic America. Besides, they were still quite well entrenched in powerful positions in government and up to the challenge of finishing what Obama started.
The first order of business for the ousted Leftist forces still in shock by their defeat was to make sure the eight years containing any of Obama's evil actions remained hidden. All this while the dismantling of the United States Constitution and the American way of life continued unabated and to do that they launched the first political coup in U.S. history against a duly elected President—a blatantly illegal and outright treasonist power grab that continues to this day.
Even with Trump as President and several newly appointed conservatives in critical positions, it's the communication power of the leftist propaganda media that has allowed a relatively small group of radicals to wield a significant amount of power and appear larger than they are. Since America is without an impartial Fourth Estate, real information Americans should be receiving is withheld and only fraudulent leftist propaganda is disseminated. As such, Americans have witnessed numerous long-term investigations amount to nothing as the country see honest politicians, such as former U.S. Representative for South Carolina Trey Gowdy and Jason Chaffetz, who served as the U.S. Representative for Utah resign, partly out of frustration.
America's core values are still strong, but there is little doubt that the Republic could suffer a point of no return if justice is not served to those who tried to overthrow the President.
True healing allowing the country to move on in the right direction from this catastrophic set of circumstances requires--in fact, demands--unprecedented punishments to the guilty parties; formally thought to be impossible. Liable individuals no matter how politically connected, wealthy or famous, must be brought to justice. Anything less would render any remedy meaningless.
