Refusing enemies entry to your home

Isn't it so racist that Israel won't let us in the countryPrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu closed the door when enemies came knocking, and not without good reason. History is a harsh teacher but a necessary one when it comes to self-preservation and Israel used common sense in refusing permission for Representatives Omar Ilhan and Rashida Tlaib to enter the country. Expect democrats and leftists around the globe to berate Israel with epithets of "racist" and claiming the Israeli government is denying free speech when the decision to shut-out these two members of Congress is a matter of wisdom. True, what these two have said about Israel and Jews in general is contemptible as they exercise their American First Amendment right. In no way, however, is any nation required to welcome into their midst visitors who despise them. Tlaib and Omar have freedom to express their opinions but the Constitution is only applicable here and to citizens of the USA. Foreign governments have no obligation to recognize our constitutional rights in their country.

Throwing around the racist tag

Israel will suffer badmouthing and ramped-up support for economic sanctions against them (like the BDS movement both congressional reps unapologetically promote) from EU members, communist nations and Muslim majority countries. Wait for each leftist spokesman to give Arab countries a pass for having policies in place that ban certain Jews from crossing their borders. (Frankly, don't bother. No one will ever mention the dual standard since it doesn't support the specious narratives of white supremacy or undue Jewish influence and power.) Going a step further, foreign governments have a duty to deny entry of individuals like these who don't stop at posting insulting and abusive tweets about the country they propose to visit. They have publicly announced their intentions to harm the nation of Israel economically, by introducing legislation to that end, and physically by openly supporting and attending meetings of anti-Israel organizations, including fundraising for them. They've made appearances for the Council for American-Islamic Relations and Islamic Society of North America, which have been tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, both designated as terrorist organizations. Throwing around the racist tag will be par for the course as the socialist/Muslim contingent have no argument to support their baseless rhetoric, which forces them to resort to debasing individuals and whole populations as they rewrite history to suit their agenda. The representatives' purpose in applying to visit Israel could be considered nothing more than a ruse since they knew beforehand what would be the answer – no entry. The denial was expected, conveniently supplying anti-Semitic talking points for them and their cohorts to disparage America's strongest ally.

The globalist viewpoints they espouse of open borders and anti-Semitism are deeply embedded in the upcoming generation of the politically and socially illiterate

What these two have done as part of the ill-famed "Squad," which connotes militaristic antagonism, is to vilify a nation by regularly maligning those who side with the small, and only, democracy in the Middle East. The globalist viewpoints they espouse of open borders and anti-Semitism are deeply embedded in the upcoming generation of the politically and socially illiterate, who believe themselves geniuses for belittling the United States that provides them the freedom they scorn. Israel is a convenient, additional target as one of the few governments that stands solidly beside America in upholding individual liberty and capitalism, concepts the "Squad" spurns for lack of understanding. What slips through their and others' (the UN, say?) grasp is that Israel is a political entity like any other sovereign nation. When it was established it was more than a homeland to displaced Jewry that had suffered expulsion, imprisonment, extermination efforts (real concentration camps) and civic confinement (the first ghettoes were established for them in Italy in the Middle Ages) for centuries. It was a young nation that invited all current inhabitants of the land to be integral parts of the social fabric and governance. What is modern Israel is connected to the legacy of an anomalous people tied together by heritage, culture and faith, but it is a political entity with sovereign rights to be equally exercised together with other nations of the world. Among those rights is the decision to bar entry to individuals who publicly demonstrate their intent to obliterate their host by denying and rewriting history, inciting violence. Courtesy does not extend to welcoming enemies whose only reason for visiting is to meet with collaborators operating inside the border (their "humanitarian" motive) and reconnoiter the target. If only Congress had the chutzpah to do for us what Israel is doing for itself... close the door.
