Offended by the American Flag, Really!

I keep thinking that I’ve seen the most outrageous things the evil Marxist Democrats and their minions can come up with, but OH NO, they just keep coming up with something worse and worse, time after time. I saw a short news item this morning that fired me up to write this today. Some media person was disturbed and offended to see an American flag sticker on a pickup truck somewhere on Long Island. The fact this was a news item is pretty astounding! Oh, my Goodness! A person living and working in the United States of America is disturbed and offended simply because they saw an American flag sticker on a truck. Can this be real? Have I been transported to the Land of Oz?

By Steve Rossiter I’ll deal with the ”seeing the flag” issue first. I have a very quick and easy solution to ease this person’s psychological pain. There are more than 100 countries in all parts of the world where this person can live and not be exposed daily to the American Flag. I, and the other 18.5 million living veterans, invite this person to go live in one of these countries. As a matter of fact, if this person needs the money for a one way ticket, some of us might be able to help. On Being Offended FACT: No person can be offended unless that person chooses to be offended. Being offended is a personal choice. It is not the responsibility of the person sending the message to conduct himself/herself in a manner that will offend nobody. Why? No human being is good enough to know what might or might not offend the people that might hear their message. God might be able to, but no human being is that perceptive. It is the sole responsibility of the person receiving the message to make a determination as to whether they will be offended or not. If a person chooses to be offended, accept responsibility for that choice! Of course, we have to understand that the evil Marxist Democrats and their useful idiot minions do not accept personal responsibility for anything. Taking personal responsibility is simply not a cultural value for Marxist Democrats and their minions. Everything that happens to them is someone else’s fault, and they are expecting the Marxist government to protect them or provide a remedy for their being offended. Worse yet, the Marxist government suggests that this is true. A professional should be able to provide the help you need to cope with American flags in America. A second option is the same as for those who choose to be offended, go live somewhere where the American flag is not routinely displayed. This is not rocket science!

• Never in the history of human government has a country been formed where the government structure put limitations on itself in favor of individuals and lower level governments.
• Never in the history of human government has a country been formed where they were willing and able offer their own treasure to assure freedom of other nations, without recompense.
• Never in the history of human government has a country been formed where they were willing to offer the blood of their citizens to assure freedom of other nations, without recompense.
• Never in the history of human government has a country been formed where the after winning a foreign war, they did not keep conquered territory
• Never in the history of human government has a country been formed where the liberty of their citizens and citizens all over the world held such a high priority.
• Never in the history of human government has a country been formed based on what we now call Judeo-Christian values as the very bedrock of that nation.

The majority of Americans invite everyone to love America or go somewhere where they can be comfortable and love that country. If a person doesn’t love America, why are they here? If a person is an American citizen and they want to bring down traditional America, they are one of the domestic enemies of America that millions and millions of Americans have pledged to defend against. Without America, there would be no free world. Without America, Christianity will be in for a rough ride. And yes, I chose to be offended by the thought of an American citizen being offended by the sight of an American flag sticker on a pickup truck. Why? Because I have more than one American flag sticker on my pickup truck.
