Premier Ford Should Be Flushed Out of Hiding & Forced Back To WorkHis political colleagues won’t do it and neither will the mainstream media—but Missing in Action Ontario Premier Doug Ford should be figuratively dragged out of his hide-y-hole and forced back to work. When things got too hot for the premier, who had forced an 18-month long COVID-19 lockdown on 15 million Ontarians, said to be “the most draconian worldwide,” forcing businesses in Canada’s most populated province cratering on bankruptcy, he borrowed a political ploy from his pal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau by proroguing the Ontario legislature until Oct. 4.
Ford has not been seen nor heard from since June 9, but is still collecting his pay cheque. “The Trudeau government prorogued Parliament last August.” (iPolitics, Jan. 29, 2021)
“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s prorogation in August 2020 deserves to be seen as controversial. "• First, Parliament hadn’t had a normal debate since five months previous, in March, so all parliamentary proceedings had already been curtailed. Prorogation ended even the limited work of Commons committees that was going on. "• Second, Trudeau prorogued Parliament when it was already rushing to respond to the Quebec Superior Court’s Truchon decision, which upended the prime minister’s legislation on medical assistance in dying. Prorogation put more pressure on the House and Senate to speed up their debate of Bill C-7. That showed, in effect if not in intent, a disregard for parliamentary debate verging on contempt for Parliament. "• Finally, Trudeau’s decision to prorogue Parliament ended ongoing committee investigations into the major conflict of interest when he rammed through a grant worth hundreds of millions of dollars to a charity that had been employing his family members since he became prime minister.”

Doug Ford has gone MIA

Is this really why Doug Ford has gone MIA: ‘Ontario to have COVID-vaccine passports on Sept. 22’-(iPOLITICS, Sept. 1, 2021)
“People in Ontario will have to show proof that they’re fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter places such as indoor restaurants, bars, and gyms, starting Sept. 22.”
A diktat from the same elected official who had promised there would be no COVID-19 passport for the people he governs—and has now effectively removed himself from public view.
“Only children younger than 12, who aren’t eligible for vaccination, will be exempt, as well as people who can prove they have a medical reason that prevents them from being vaccinated, Premier Doug Ford announced Wednesday. (iPOLITICS) “A vaccine passport and photo ID must also be shown to enter nightclubs, banquet halls, event spaces, all indoor sports and fitness facilities, sporting events, casinos and other gaming establishments, concerts, music festivals, theatres, strip clubs, and sex clubs. “With the exception of outdoor sections of nightclubs, proof won’t be required for most outdoor venues, where there’s a lower risk of transmitting COVID. “Ford had previously rejected the idea of vaccine certificates (or passports, as other jurisdictions call them), because he didn’t want to create a “split society” between the vaccinated and unvaccinated. “After talking to (Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. Kieran Moore), I know this is what we have to do right now in the face of this fourth wave, because the certificates are necessary to keep our hospitals safe and to avoid another lockdown,” Ford said Wednesday. “The requirement is temporary, he added. "The provincial government also said people will never be required to show proof of vaccination to access medical care or supplies, or to buy groceries and other essentials. Nor are barbershops and hair salons on the list of places that will require proof of vaccination.

MIA Ontario Premier and the jeered and booed Canadian PM seem to be in league

“From Sept. 22 to Oct. 22, Ontarians should use the paper or PDF receipt they were given when they received their shots, which they can also download from the Ministry of Health’s website. After Oct. 22, the government plans to make digital QR codes available that businesses can verify with an app. “In Ontario, 77 percent of people 12 and older have been fully vaccinated against COVID, and 84 per cent have received at least one shot. “Quebec’s vaccine-passport system, the first in Canada, took effect today, while Manitoba’s launches on Friday, and B.C.’s starts Sept. 13. "Since July 6, fully vaccinated Canadians have been able to skip the otherwise-mandatory 14-day quarantine period after entering the country. The exemption was extended to fully vaccinated American travellers on Aug. 9. It’s expected that fully vaccinated citizens of other countries will be allowed in without isolating themselves starting Sept. 7, but that date hasn’t been confirmed.”
In the enforced digital COVID, “papers please” passport department, the MIA Ontario Premier and the jeered and booed Canadian PM seem to be in league:

The Maxime Bernier-led PPC (People’s Party of Canada are against COVID-19 passports

“Just two days before calling the federal election, Justin Trudeau announced that a Liberal government would require all federal government employees to be vaccinated against COVID in late September. Employees in the federally regulated sectors of air, rail, and marine transportation must also be vaccinated by the end of October. The Treasury Board, which oversees the federal public service, said it “expects” Crown corporations and employers to soon require their employees to be vaccinated against COVID.(iPOLITICS) “Ottawa also intends to require travellers on domestic flights, interprovincial train trips, and overnight marine voyages to be vaccinated. “Last week, the Liberal government announced that, if re-elected, it would spend up to $1 billion helping the provinces and territories implement vaccine passports. “Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole opposes vaccine mandates for federal employees. Instead, he thinks people should take a rapid COVID test before going to work or boarding a bus, train, plane, or ship.” “NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says a New Democratic government would also mandate vaccination of federal employees, under threat of discipline. Singh has also said the federal government should create a national passport that can be used everywhere in the country.”

There are currently 70 Conservatives holding seats in the Ontario Legislature—but not one of them is asking where their premier is. When Canada Free Press spotted a Rumble video by former Conservative, now independent MPP Rick Nicholls this morning, we tried to reach him through his provincial office:
”Dear Rick, We watched your Rumble video this morning, and were mighty impressed!

“According to our cursory Google news search, the Premier of this province has not been seen, nor heard from for at least the past 6 days. “I would like to write about this, and am asking you: To your knowledge, are any Conservative MPPs even asking why the Premier is so obviously Missing In Action? Best, Judi McLeod Canada Free Press, Editor”
This is the response we got from Nicholls’ office. (Nicholls was booted out of the Conservative Caucus all for not taking the COVID shot.
“MPP Nicholls is not in the office, but as an Independent he is not kept in the loop. Sue Adamson Executive Assistant to Rick Nicholls, MPP”
On Sept. 22, all residents of Ontario will be subject to a provincial COVID-19 passport, denying any who refuse the vaccination from many lifestyle freedoms they have had to date. “The proverbial saying 'All's fair in love and war' expresses the idea that, like war, where any strategy is accepted, affairs of the heart are also no-holds-barred contests.” (Phrases.org) Meanwhile, all is not fair in ‘The Time of COVID’. The 70 Conservative MPPs holding seats in Ontario should flush their premier out from hiding—or lose the respect of all those who voted them into office.
