Joe Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Dead Copycat of ObamaCareWhy exactly is it that Congress and their staff are EXEMPT from Biden’s draconian vaccine mandate? Surely the media-touted raging pandemic cannot distinguish between those who govern and the hopelessly governed. The Nancy Pelosi-led House gained exemptions from both ObamaCare and COVID-19 mandates.

What Is In Biden’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate?

‘What Is In Biden’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate?' (NewsWeek, Sept. 10, 2021)
“President Joe Biden's new vaccine mandates for federal employees don't apply to members of Congress or those who work for Congress or the federal court system.”
We can throw postal workers into the mix. Are unionized workers—by their very nature—immune to the ravages of a raging pandemic? ‘Confirmed: Biden Consulted Union Presidents Before Announcing Vax Mandate. (HotAir, Sept. 13, 2021)
“Biden issued two executive orders on Thursday requiring vaccination against COVID for federal workers and contractors who work for the federal government. He also asked the Department of Labor to issue an emergency order requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to ensure their workers are vaccinated or tested on a weekly basis. (NewsWeek) “However, Biden's order on federal workers applies to employees of the executive branch. The House of Representatives and the Senate belong to the separate legislative branch, and the courts to the judicial branch of the federal government. "Biden's COVID action plan - "Path Out of the Pandemic" - published on the White House website makes the effect of the vaccine mandate clear. “The plan says: "Building on the President's announcement in July to strengthen safety requirements for unvaccinated federal workers, the President has signed an Executive Order to take those actions a step further and require all federal executive branch workers to be vaccinated." "The President also signed an Executive Order directing that this standard be extended to employees of contractors that do business with the federal government," the plan goes on. "As part of this effort, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Indian Health Service, and the National Institute of Health will complete implementation of their previously announced vaccination requirements that cover 2.5 million people."

Exemptions and self-bestowed elitist privileges are not new to Congress

“The New York Times reported on Thursday that the executive order doesn't apply to those who work for Congress or the federal courts, citing White House officials.(NewsWeek) “Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said at a press conference on April 29 that the House couldn't require members to be vaccinated. Video clips of those remarks gained renewed attention online following Biden's announcement. "So—so here is the thing. We are—we cannot require someone to be vaccinated. That's just not what we can do. It is a matter of privacy to know who is or who isn't," Pelosi said. "I can't go to the Capitol Physician and say, 'Give me the names of people who aren't vaccinated, so I can go encourage them or make it known to others to encourage them to be vaccinated.' So we can't—we can't do that," she said. “Pelosi's office reiterated that position in a statement to Newsweek on Friday, saying the speaker's April 29 remarks were "referring to the institution in which she serves." "She's saying she cannot force Members to be vaccinated, which is true," the statement said.”
Are the government and its running dog media so obsessed with COVID-19 that they’re hoping the masses forget that this is the same Congressional House, led by the same Speaker, who gained an exemption for ObamaCare, while the rest of the nation suffered under its crushing weight? Exemptions and self-bestowed elitist privileges are not new to Congress, including the Insider Trading that the House was allowed to engage in. They had to pass a law, once they were caught out, to stop that perk—but not before many multi-millionaires were made in Congress—and still finding ways around it.
The Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act, enacted April 4, 2012 is an Act of Congress designed to combat insider trading. It was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. The law prohibits the use of non-public information for private profit, including insider trading by members of Congress and other government employees. It confirms changes to the Commodity Exchange Act, specifies reporting intervals for financial transactions. (Wikipedia) "After a 60 Minutes segment on congressional insider trading in 2011, Republican Senator Scott Brown and Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand introduced bills to combat the practice. In February 2012, the STOCK Act passed in the Senate by a 96–3 vote. Later the House of Representatives passed it by a 417–2 vote. The bill was supported heavily by vulnerable incumbents and signed into law by President Obama.

‘Politicization’ of Vaccines has become a deadly game for the masses

Meanwhile, the ‘Politicization’ of Vaccines has become a deadly game for the masses: “While everything about Covid-19 seems to have become politicized, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is placing the blame on one person for politicizing the Covid-19 vaccines: Vice President Kamala Harris. (Townhall, Sept. 13, 2021)
“During a vice presidential debate with former VP Mike Pence, Harris was asked if she’d take a Covid-19 vaccine approved under the Trump administration. “If the public health professionals, if Dr. Fauci, if the doctors tell us that we should take it, I’ll be the first in line to take it. Absolutely,” she said. “But if Donald Trump tells us that we should take it. I’m not taking it.” “That wasn’t the only time Harris expressed her doubts—during media appearances she said she wouldn’t trust Trump about the reliability of a vaccine. “Harris’s comments “put this in a totally different area that allowed it to be politicized and that politicization is just continuing now,” Christie told ABC’s "This Week.” “Pence, who was tapped to lead the coronavirus task force, has insisted that while Operation Warp Speed moved the vaccine rollout along swiftly, safety was not jeopardized.

Is it more important to get people to hate Trump than it is to keep them safe from coming down with COVID?

“Former Vice President Mike Pence, who was interviewed on Fox News’ "Life, Liberty & Levin," told host, Mark Levin, that Harris and other Democrats need to "stop playing politics with people’s lives by undermining confidence in a safe and effective vaccine.” (TownHall) "So to have Kamala Harris say, two, three times in a row that she would refuse to take the vaccine that was produced under the Trump administration" is unconscionable, he said. (Fox News) “In announcing sweeping new vaccine mandates last week, President Biden said his "patience is wearing thin" for those Americans who remain unvaccinated.”
Meanwhile, COVID-19 has proven to be a much more Democrat-run “Hate-Trump” political battle than it is a raging pandemic. Problem is that more people are laid low and dying from the politics of COVID than they are of the pandemic. Burning question of our day: Are the Democrats trying to kill off the dangers of COVID-19 to the public—or merely trying to kill off what is left of the Donald Trump legacy? Is it more important to get people to hate Trump than it is to keep them safe from coming down with COVID? Knowing the answer to that niggling question is essential to finding our way back to good health
