When I started writing this article the United States nation debt was $31,625, 960,000,000 and the hole was getting deeper by the second—so fast that I couldn’t even capture the right hand six digits. I have a request for the United States Congress, please Stop Digging. In 2023, you are making charges to the credit cards of your unborn great-grandchildren. STOP DIGGING!

In the twisted corrupt minds of liberals there is an assumption that there is a revenue problem in America. There isn’t a revenue problem; there is a spending problem in America and Congress is the perpetrator of that spending. STOP spending for any non-governmental functions as enumerated in the United States Constitution. STOP being the world’s largest charity! STOP funding non-government organizations. STOP funding non-military foreign aid; we can’t buy friends. STOP funding NPR, PBS, Planned Parenthood, the performing arts, and all other charities. STOP DIGGING!

When America’s debt catastrophe is resolved, and if Americans wish to fund these kinds of things, amend the Constitution accordingly. If they don’t, then don’t. STOP spending money on things that are the responsibility of the states as enumerated in the Constitution. STOP spending on things that are rightly individual or church charities. STOP DIGGING!
In the short time it has taken me to write this article the debt has passed $31, 626,135,000,000. That’s more than a billion dollars. At this rate in about two weeks the American national debt will hit 32 trillion dollars! STOP DIGGING!

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.
In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
